Kari,
I'm sorry to hear that, because I'm finding out it's not that nice.
Yesterday made 2 weeks since it happened. The initial pain screaming pain I had in my back is gone, mostly that was just the first few hours. But like you the pain in my upper left thigh and knee is refusing to go away, but it does seems to be getting better a little bit at a time.
Yesterday during the day, there was actually little pain at all. I thought, I was still babying it by taking it easy and not pushing myself around the house, but after 2 weeks in the house I had to get out. The hubby and I did a few errands, he went in and I sat in the car. One stop was Best Buy. I thought "Hey I'm feel very good today, I'll go in. I went to the camera department to look at memory for the digital camera and in the 2 second it took to look at the display on the end cap to turning the corner my leg gave out on me. I nearly fall down. The clerk who had been ignoring me before now came over to see if I was all right. I saw my husband on the cell phone and waved him over and told him to run to the front and get the wheelchair I saw there as we came in. Since I had finally had the clerk there, with tears in my ears I asked him about the memory while Paul was coming back with the chair.
Paul arrives back pushing the chair with one hand and still holding the cell phone to his ear with the other hand, he then processes to run over my left foot right across the toes. This is the leg I'm having trouble with, so in serious pain now I fall into the chair and take my shoe off. He has hit me at just the right angle to push the toenail on my big toe backwards. ouchie
Needless to say the rest of the day was pretty much ruined for me. I didn't even get the change to sit and play VMK yesterday. Had a lot of nightmares last night. It hurt a lot during the night; but it's feeling ok at the moment. However I think I'm ready to gnaw it off at the hip, if only I wasn't too fat to lend down and reach it.
