I've been toying with the idea and can't decide whether or not to try. The listing fees are sooo much cheaper. My mom sews valances for me to sell and they are selling very well. But, we seem to be getting more and more fabrics so I am spending alot on listing fees. Just wondering if anyone has had success with the store thing.....or if I should just stick to what is working??

thanks in advance! Jon

I would stick with what's working.. I often read the discussions over on the eBay Community Boards and people spend quite a bit of time grumbling that their stores are not getting enough customers.. I think I also recall reading that if you have items in your store - as opposed to the traditional listings - they don't show up in a "search"..

If it ain't broke - don't fix it! LOL ;)

Glad to hear your doing so well..:)

C.Ann is correct. Though the listing may be cheaper by opening a store on ebay, when a person does a search on ebay, items in your store won't show up. The user will have to go into one of your auctions and then go into your store. As a result of the extra steps, Ebay stores don't often get the same traffic as a regular ebay auction. As stated go with what works.
