Hey, Mel, with all that jumping and clapping, you're getting worn out! You are supposed to be resting and getting better!

I'm not confident about your quest for the tag fairy. First off I'm not sure the tag fairy has a passport so how can he/she/they/it ever get to the Canadian Board. I mean really what country would give a fairy a passport ... imagine the havoc they could wreak with all the flitting they could do from country to country.

Thankfully, I remember a time when the Tag Fairy did a quick run to Canada and passed out lots. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of them. So, hopefully, the noise of all that clapping will attract her attention, and you'll get one one of these days! Stay strong!

Hi Mel,
I think that the full moon has done a number on the kids. We had TWO teeth lost yesterday. I pulled one, and the second was literally lost for five hours. Little guy was distraught...literally shaking,and there was NO consoling him. He spent about 45 minutes searching (yes, I tried to get him to write a letter....he eventually did, but it wasn't good enough!), and then as he was walking down the hall to go home.....he found it! TODAY, I pulled another tooth, and wiggled the fourth-but it won't be ready until next week.

Oh, and wouldn't it be Red Rose tea.....only in Canada, you know. (Of course it's not, now.)

Maybe the Tag Fairy is waiting for the butter tarts? Or maybe Nanaimo bars? Or REAL Smarties? Or . . . . .

Back to work today but I did miss you.

I have to laugh at those kids -they are so sweet,,they think that I live at the school so when I'm sick I should still be there -they looked everywhere for me,

It's important to them at this age,,glad it turned up .

Deb: you lost a kids tooth

No, the little guy went to the bathroom and was fooling around. He lost it somewhere between the fountain and the urinal. He had an EA helping him look for it (they were on their hands and knees in the hall ) and couldn't find it. It was really special that, as he walked down the hall, it gleamed at his downtrodded face.

Dear Tag Fairy,
Please gift those on the Canadian Board that have no tag. They, too, are DIScovering DIS magic. !

I was kidding --isn't it always the teacher's fault when these things happen
I am happy that he found it,,we have these little plastic clear shapes that the tooth can be put in and then a piece of ribbon -string or lacing can be attached to make a necklace ,,the kids can't wait to get one. I just want the kid to make it home with the tooth--don't want to be responsible for any lost teeth,,,the tooth fairy isn't the kind of Fairy I need looking for me.

I don't know if the blackmail approach works, I used to have 5 tags but threatened to post pics of CanadianGuy poolhopping in wheelies and well, you can see the results.

Still Believing in my little Tag fairy

o/t --just got the plant hangers I've been waiting a year for hung up in the back-yard and they look lovely. I need to get myself a drill /electric screw driver so I don't have to rely on family to do these things. Hmmm maybe it has something to do with the time my brother lent me a chain saw and I mis -calculated the height of the tree I took down. It did miss hitting the house----well only by a foot.
