O/T Does the tag Fairy

well here I sit all stuffed up with a rotten sinus infection,,
just booked two days off work and curled up with my lap top,,now how can I get the Tag Fairy's attention,,is there something special I need to say or do????
Is there a special number of posts I have to make ???

The Tag Fairy .. much like Tinkerbell and other mythical creatures.. is very self directed and will pop up at the most unusual times and places. Usually the Tag fairy will hover over all the posts on the boards and the ones that tickle her fancy that day, will spur her into action.

My best advice -- is go about doing what you do on the boards and before you know it -- the Tag Fairy will find you!

I;m kind of the "mythical tooth fairy to the grade ones",,when their parents can't or won't pull out that wiggly tooth they send them to me. Ahhh two whole days to recharge my batteries. But I'll be watching for her

I agree-you never can predict when she will strike next. My Tags, for which I am very grateful, came unexpectedly. DH is still waiting for his first one! (Hee hee)

I got my first one years ago-when I played on the Community board. My last came last year when I played on the WISH board. The DIScovering DIS magic is actually my own.

I'm not sure who's more excited doing the morning calendar --kids or myself.

Between antibiotics, Neo-citran ,tylenol cold and flu ,hot cups tea I'll either get better or just plain won't care .I must say I'll never use a regular tissues again;;
PUFFS with lotion the only way to go.

Like all good things, it's the anticipation that makes it special!

I agree with the Puffs Plus (Kleenex with lotion are okay, too). If DH accidentally buys the others "because they are on sale".....they end up on my desk at school. With the obligatory, "Thanks Mr. R." on the side. At home, I hide a box just for me!

I'm not confident about your quest for the tag fairy. First off I'm not sure the tag fairy has a passport so how can he/she/they/it ever get to the Canadian Board. I mean really what country would give a fairy a passport ... imagine the havoc they could wreak with all the flitting they could do from country to country .

Secondly, I think looking for the tag fairy is like watching a pot and waiting for it to boil. You only get tagged when you least expect it.

Having said that good luck on your quest for the Holy Grail

So, if a tag is the little saying or expression that is under your "name", can you really only get one if you are tagged by the Tag Fairy?? How about if I am a distant relation? Seriously, my maiden name is Ferrey, so it is only fitting that I get to represent here on the Canadian boards, right??

But really, is that the only way to get a tag??

yep, its kind of like the tooth fairy. You hope she'll come, you never see her, you never know when she's there, but when you wake up you know she's been there.

i suppose you could try blackmailing the moderators to have them add a tag(pictures of them using out of date mugs, smoking at a resort after June 1, proving they had multiple ADR's for different restaurants for the same time etc) ... otherwise just close your eyes and hope

maybe a goodnight story
Once upon a time there was a liitle tag fairy who lived above a bakery shop (BWV) now she was a sad little fairy because the coffee they served at BWV was terrible, She searched high and low for a way to bring good coffee to Disney world and met a nice lady named Mel .Mel introduced her Tag Fairy to Tim Horton's coffee and it was love at first taste. So Mel and the Tag Fairy did a lot of clapping and jumping(creation of MK fireworks) to celebrate . From that day forward Mel was blessed with a memorable TAG from the special Tag Fairy.
