OK OK its sunday night.......time for confessions.......The weekends are just so tough for me!
I realized that on the weekends I get together with my friends and family. We are always ont he go.
The weekdays I do fine.
I'm home, kids are in school...and I just baracade myslef in my house and I do good its all about routine.
Plus I am one of those people that once I screw up I throw in the towel and say...the hell with it may as well go all the way.
I cant even begin to tell you things sinful things I ate.
Do you all have weekend problems?
I mean I am suppose to change how I eat all togteher not just when Im home, right?
I vowed on an earlier post this weekend that I would not cheat this weekend but I just got weak.
I also noticed another evil pattern.
I realized through the help of my calender that it seems I lose weight in bulk. For instance one day I will be 178 and the next I am down to 175. Which is exactly what happend this past week and others as well. Right after I lose a few pounds , I mean immediatly after I find out, its incentive for me. I say to myself O my Im goona eat so good for now on this is really working. but then I start thinking.......O I can eat this I lost a few pounds.
Its like the devil on one shoulder and the angel on the other.
A vicious pattern it is.
I am very upset at myself.
Im thinking I will punish myself with extra exercise this week.!lol

Renee, I have a much harder time on the weekends also amd today I was really BAD. I have been telling myself that Monday I am going to really get back on track with my eating so today I had to eat everything in site and get all my cravings out of my system. So now tomorrow I really do need to begin being good again. I am going to go back on induction and I am only going to drink water for the next few weeks. Our employee Christmas party is in 4 weeks and I'd like to lose 8-10 pounds by then and then I'll be really close to my goal. I have been doing alot of yoyoing on this diet and it has to stop. Whenever I lose a few pounds I seem to go on a little binge and then I gain some back and this too must stop.

Good luck and hopefully tomorrow we will both get on track and stay there and I am vowing that next weekend I will not "fall of the wagon".

I completely relate!! I did perfectly this week..lost ~3.5 pounds, working out 6 days!! The weekends comes and it's like nothing I do 'counts'. I was not totally bad..I've definitely been worse. Sat dinner was biscuits, gravy, and sausage...I'd been craving it for days. My dh and I stopped at the store (he's bad at impulse items). He bought a bag of 'Nut Goodies' candy and those Little Debbie christmas tree cakes..tis the season!!! Today, sunday, we went to a movie and split a box of Goobers and I had a small REAL coke. Went to lunch (did not breakfast) had a crabcake sand and fries. 1 Choc chip cookie, PB&J sandwich, 1 little debbie!! I did do my 45 on the treadmill.

Yes, tomorrow is Monday, and time to get back on track!! Maybe we should start a cheat free weekend challange!!

This journey we are all on is a lot about self-awareness. It's not always easy and it doesn't happen overnight. You can't change what happened this past weekend, it's over. Just forgive yourself and move on. It sounds like you are doing a great job of identifying the areas that give you problems. Weekends are hard! Our daily routine changes on the weekends and that can be tough to handle. Now that you know that, you can come up with a plan to handle it for next weekend! :D

Well said, mowsie dreamer. Wiskband, the weekend is in the past and you can't change it, so don't beat yourself up. Concentrate on right now. Right now you are determined, motivated and on your way to goal! You can do this, you know. We are all going to help you.

Yah, what Kath said!!:p

Seriously, we are all here to help you and don't worry about this weekend...it is over now and time to move on...Sometimes I find when I have a craving for something, if I come to the WISH board with my huge bottle of water, I forget that I was hungry and I don't want anything anymore...

I just love this board! LOL
