I'll start:


FAMILY FINFAN....8/11 THRU 8/21 Free DDP starting the 13th

Count us in.....5/29-6/3.....dining plan! Just the 2 of us!

ozziewags...is this your first CSR stay? I see you are a S/D fan, as are we...I am a bit nervous about changing our ressies from the Dolphin, but the free DDP is just too large of a savings for us to pass up...so we sold out for food! I can't even imagine what our grocery bill at home would be if I prepared all the meals we are hoping to try...I am trying to justify the overall cost by applying what we are NOT spending at home for 10 days...( like it's gonna seal the deal) ANYWAY...just wondering if you have any insight comparing the 2 resorts if you ahev been to CSR before.
Looks like you are one of the earliest of the group on this thread to go...that makes you the messengers....be ready to post at great length upon yout return, PLEASE?????????

Yes, this is our first stay at CSR. Will miss the S/D, but am anxious to try CSR. We wanted the dining plan as we enjoy the disney restaurants anyway. Seemed like a no-brainer to us. (we are paying obviously) We have stayed at many disney resorts, but the deluxes have outpriced us. So we started staying at the Swan/Dolphin, as I am a teacher and a Starwood member. Hard to beat the amenities of those resorts. This time we opted for CSR, short trip, dining plan and how can you pass up Buzz's (Mario's) recommendatins!? Will post upon return!

Barring all disasters (and counting on good Ebay sales, lol)...we'll be there 8/13-8/19. We just upgraded (I was feeling optimistic about my budgeting abilities!) from POP.

DH, DD, and me. Free dining. Aug. 14-17. Stayed last July during a hurricane. No problems. Very nice resort. 17-21 at Dolphin. Love the Dolphin and the nurse's rate this year $129. How insane.
There are lots of complaints about the Pepper Market, the food is good and fresh. Check out the ribeye's and prime rib! 2 adults can split the meal.
Heard the gator was removed. I had hoped to see him again this summer.

Me, DH and our four daughters! TWO rooms (ouch) requested Cabanas/non-smoking ... 8/28 to 9/3, then Disney Wonder for four nights ... two cabins deck seven (OUCH! OUCH!)!! SOOOOO looking forward to this trip!!

My DD8 and I will be staying at the CSR 9/27 - 9/30 (free dining) for the first time. Actually, it will be our first Disney resort (ever!) and we haven't been to Disney since she was 3.

Can't wait to hear what everyone has to say about CSR!!

We love CSR! Last trip was our first time at CSR. We went there a few days and then to AS Movies. The values are nice, but just not the same. They are cute for the kids, and I'd stay there versus off property, but CSR was so nice. We'll never stay value again. We're spoiled now!

We will also be there Sept. 28 - Oct. 7....me, DH, and DD (6). How ironic the similarities. We're also planning on MNSSHP but not on the 29th, at least I don't think.

Cool. Maybe we'll see you there. Just look for my oldest dd (8th grader) to be giggling a lot. It's her new habit, especially when young men (teens) are around, lol.
