Ok...I bawled like a baby for pretty much the entire hour. I didnt like how it ended but hope that means they can turn it back around next season. Ryan, to me, cant leave, hes the staple of the show. Poor everyone.....cant wait for next season.

I didn't cry.
But I did get mad. Why do they have to make Marissa start drinking again? Give me a break. Hopefully she will jump off her balcony that the lucky witch has in her room. Ok, ok-she isn't a witch but does she lack any sense? Why can't these people take thier lives into thier own hands? What will happen if she leaves her mom and stays with her dad?
And where is Seth going on his little boat?

I really do love this show, but for some reason all of the girls bug me. The mothers on the other hand, I love.

I cried. The whole show was so sad.

Seth most likely going to Tahiti - like he planned to do last summer before Ryan showed up.

just looks like everyone went back to what they were doing before Ryan came into their lives - Seth being moody/outcast and Marissa drinking again (they didn't show Summer.)

I think it's nice how the season ended - him driving away looking at Marissa - as it basically began.

I got a few tears - but I didn't all out cry...I'm trying to think how this is going to play out next season - because Ryan HAS to come back.

1. Theresa has a miscarriage and Eddie makes Ryan leave Chino.
2. Theresa has the baby and it's Eddies.
3. Something happens to Seth or Marissa and Ryan returns to "save the day"

oh it's going to be a long summer waiting for this!!

Get out the tissues for tonight - Friends finale!

I missed the first few episodes of The OC. I got into it when the whole Oliver thing started to play out.

I cannot believe how much I look forward to this show every week. It WILL be a long Summer.

I KNOW I will cry tonight for Friends. What are we going to watch next Season??

Yes, I love the OC, too. I am leaving my DH for Ryan! LOL- He's actually closer to my age than he is to a teenager. I think he's 24 or 26. I agree that Ryan will be back because he is the show. But, I missed the first few minutes of last nights episode, so I didn't see why he was leaving. I gathered that it was because of Theresa's pg, but does he think it's his? How would they know? She was with both of them! Ryan is too upstanding for a "bad boy." Can't wait for next fall!!

"The O.C" (O.C. standing for Orange County)

show on Fox...9pm EST on Wednesdays...season just ended last night

I shed some tears but between Friends and Angel I'll shed more

I bawled when Kristin was crying after Ryan left. For some reason that really got to me.

When Kirsten cried I all out bawled... I think the music they selected for that was really right on the mark.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that cried. How sad! I really think Theresa is manipulating Ryan. Something is going to play out next season where he has to come back to the O.C.

And how far is Seth going to get on that little boat? Something bad is going to happen to him.

And I really cried more when Kirsten cried. Remember when she didn't even want Ryan living there?

What a great show, I can't wait until next season!

I cried too when Kirsten started crying in ryans room. I agree, he can't leave the show, it's based around his story, and the cohens story. Can't wait till next season!

tricia.

I shed a couple of tears when Kristen was crying , but for much of the episode I was sitting there pretty disapointed.

Now know that this is my favorite show but come on. I did not like how it ended. This did not leave me on the edge of my seat - Ryan has to come back to that ensemble.

The music they were playing can also be found on the Shrek soundtrack believe it or not. It is very depressing music if you listen to the words.

I all out BAWLED and so did my friend Katie.

Kirsten crying was what got me. In fact, I wound up calling my ex-boyfriend's mother (who I'm very very very close to) after the show to catch up and talked to her for an hour, lol.

I think Seth hit me the worst, I felt the most sorry for him. Ryan really did change his life in so many ways, he was losing a brother.

Ryan didn't seem to care all THAT much. I mean, yeah, I know it's a rough decision to make...but does anyone else think that his character is pretty much expressionless through the entire show?

Most of the time I like the adults on the show more than the children. The Cohen's are awesome. The kids tend to annoy me from time to time, especially when I read interviews with Mischa Barton in magazines (she plays Marissa). She comes off very snotty and full of herself, I can't stand it.

How am I going to wait until September? At least I have almost the whole season downloaded on my laptop, lol!

Yes - as soon as I heard the music I'm like "This is from Shrek!" (I love that movie)

But I totally agree - there needed to be a BIGGER clifhanger - not just him leaving.

I was actually saying to myself "get in a car accident get in a car accident"...woudln't that totally hook you and make you CRAVE the next season that much more?

I know it's horrific for me to say - but this is a TV show...not real life...so I don't feel bad wishing to kill off a character.

And yes - Kirsten crying got me too...she really did alot for Ryan - she was against having him in her home from the begining...but in the end was the one that made the decision that he would stay.

My husband said, "Damn, now I'm going to have to worry all summer about Seth sailing in the tiny boat".

We all just looked at him with tears in our eyes and started laughing.

The song they played from Shrek was really good too.

Remember ER fans when Mark Greene died and they played the remake of "Somewhere over the Rainbow".

The OC ending reminded me a lot of the ER ending when Mark died, no dialog, just emotional scenes. I wonder if it was the same writer.

Thanks for asking again, shatzjsl, and the answer, stinkerbelle. :)

I missed a couple of episodes while in WDW. I saw the last 2. Can someone tell me why Marissa is moving in with Julie? I know it has something to do with her dad and Caleb but what? I also missed how Ryan and Marissa got back together.
