Hi All,

I have been avoiding this post for a few weeks now. Jeff and I won't be going on the cruise. I left him 2 weeks ago and am already in a new apartment. He and Aaron may still be going but I haven't heard. I was hoping that things would get better but they didn't and hanging on just to cruise with all of you lovely people, didn't seem right to me. I also couldn't hang on that long. I didn't like who I was in that relationship and life is too short to be angry and miserable.

I hope you all have a wonderful time. Please have several drinks for me.

I am so sorry... I know what it is like to walk in your shoes. Married and a step mom w/o children of your own. Its NOT easy.

Glad to hear that you are already set up and relocated, leaving is the hardest part.. from there I think it will get a bit easier with each passing day.

Soooo.. I called DCL (yes.. AGAIN) and asked if the hotel was included the night before, as they are flying us in and listed us at a specific hotel. Good news, yes its included.. PERFECT.. so then I got brave and asked.

Me: Sooo.. Has DCL decided which night they are moving the Pirate night to, since NYE falls on the night that is normally done?

DCL rep: I dont know, let me check.

DCL rep: Its still too early, they havent made any decisions.

Me: Will they be making any decisions prior to the 105 days before the sailing so that people can book their Palo ressie's accordingly??

DCL rep: I am sure they will

Me: So I should call back closer to the 105 day mark to find out the plans so that I can book my extras accordingly??

DCL rep: *Sigh* Yes.

Hmmmmm.. I will keep you abreast of my harrassing of DCL and any pertinet info I dig up.

I have started "guessing" at the Character Breakfast/Palo Brunch/Champagne Breakfast REAS style for us... I think.. if we get the rotation we asked for for the second seating group.. which is to have Lumiere's on NYE.. then our Character Breakfast should be on Sunday (Key West am), I would then book Palo Brunch for either the Monday at sea OR Thursday at sea.. and the opposite would be the champagne breakfast in the room. I was thinking that the in room dining should probably be on the Thursday... as its New Years Day, and I could make sure we dont have to be up early and can sleep in..

THoughts???

Until I know more concrete, their plans to switcharoo the NYE, I am holding off on deciding which night to dine at Palo.

Hello!!! I was wondering if you planned on taking part in the fish extenders on this cruise. I am going to try and come up w/a schedule and I believe we decided on doing no theme, but each cabin should be including a postcard from their hometown/local area.. type thing.

Anyway.. if you are interested, let us know, so we can add you to that list and I can plan away!!!

Whatever happened to the other person you were chatting w/on the cruise forum?? I dont think they have joined in the chat yet.

Palo Dinner 1/1 or 1/2 - I'm leaning toward Friday night 1/2.
(it's worth the extra $20 to do both really-I LOVE the food at Palo)

No REAS for me, I'll wait for the 90 day mark

I am offering to make iron ons (and 3" buttons) for whomever wants them - take heed, I am charging one drink onboard for every two sheets of iron ons I gotta use for your request. Mailing the sheets (or buttons) to you before we sail is included in my fee.

If I do Palo, I'm still thinking about doing it on semi-formal night. I'll stay tuned to see how DCL arranges the nights. When I linked us for dinner, I BEGGED for Lumiere's for formal night...I know, no guarantees. We asked for that rotation last cruise, but we didn't get it.

I too think that Palo is worth both visits!!! for sure. I had not thought about the til we meet again dinner.. perhaps I should check out that menu and see if I want that one or not!! lol.

I do it based on what is being served and stuff. Sad.. my world seems to revolve around food.

Disney DOES food RIGHT for sure....and dinner AND a brunch at Palo is a MUST DO for me & Rus & Chel too since they have not yet experienced either! everything there is just SOOOOOOOOO yummy! but it's all okay because they did remove the calories!!!!

- or did you say you *got* the pin kit already and just need the printouts. If you only need the printouts I can email you what I use for Kelly's and mine when I make them and you can print it out and know they will fit

I know John appreciates good food and I think Palo's food was better than the main dining's food. Not that it's bad, Palo IMHO is better

Aisling, are you hoping for a group dinner for semi-formal night or a romantic dinner? Did Chad and Louise decide what night they'll do Palo? I'd absolutely do two if it meant one romanitc and one group night!

John is the romantic type. I know he'd be ok with a group thing but would insist on a couple meals for just he and I as well.

My thinking is I'd do two brunches at Palo, one for two and one group if anyone will join us. And two Palo dinners, same plan.

Hi everyone, I am on vacation this week and next, we have been at the cottage. No TV, no computer, just a radio and cell service, love it. it is all we hoped it would be.

Go in for surgery tomorrow morning at 7:45, nervous and excited at the same time. Will be glad when it's over. Very much looking forward to my teeth fitting together nicely. Esp. looking forward to the pain meds Aisling.

I should be out of the hospital on Sunday, I'll let you know how it goes. Maybe even some before and after pics.
