I think they would have liked to go with us. Mom was afraid she would be seasick the whole time, she turns green going over speed bumps in the parking lot. Dad is 76 and he does not like to plan that far in advance, even though his health is good. They are great to travel with and we enjoyed many a trip with them, but we are looking forward to being on our own this year.

Hey everyone - dang 2.5 pages in less than 24 hours - chatty chatty. I would have gotten on last night (as well as update the website) but you will never believe what happened. Yesterday morning I starting feeling my tonsils swell again and throat get sore - I went to the doctor - low and behold I have strep again. Now this time its no where near as bad as it was last time - although I did get a fever this time - but I can at least swallow and not 24+ hours of fever. Doctor gave me a shot of antibiotics instead of medicine and let me tell you - HURT. We aren't talking wussy hurt because I can stand pain pretty good (2 c-sections and walking 6 hours after the second one type of tolerating pain). This stuff was refridgerated and took 30 seconds to actually inject as it was so thick. Yuck.

Aisling - thanks for linking the ressies together. This weekend I can try and add a page for the Dining information and move over the rotation for that as well as who is linked for dining (along with the other entries).

Tigg - I hope Mika is doing better. Also, are we getting T-shirts ourselves and then pay for the transfers through you? Just want to make sure I understand the steps and don't screw it up.

Saw wall-e last week with the kids. We ended up taking both Sydney and Sean (18 months) to the 9:00 show and he did great (his first time in theater). We figured he would doze off halfway through the show as his bedtime is usually 800 and sure enough he did. The other times he just sat in the booster they provide and watched it - he's not a big tv/movie watcher but he seemed to enjoy it. And yes - I thought it was a good movie.

Do like Brenda did, tell me what size (small for chest side - large for full size front or back of your shirt) and which logo - Blue or Black and how many of each.

For the minimal cost of the iron ons, $2.50 a sheet, here is my deal...you each owe me one drink for every two pages that I have to print for you. Postage included. Brenda asked for two large and two small of each of the two logos, that is actually 6 sheets cause I can fit two small ones on one page - so I would charge her 3 drinks in return. Sound like a plan?

I'm gonna ride this one out til Tuesday with a positive outlook for her.

If she gets worse before Tuesday, I will know it's time to let her go. If she comes out of this like she did the last one - we will get to take her to the beach next month!

Nah, not *too* creepy~As my hubby would say, "She's Hot."

I don't like the lines that form...way too long for my liking~

I get my character photos by waiting off to the side with my telephoto lens. I try to shoot when they are "in between" greeting kids or with a really short one. This way I get my shot and only get the characters without getting random people's kids in there too AND I don't have to wait in line~

i like this thought!!! Going to try it at DL Oct 3rd...YEP I HAVE to go for a quick fix & Ryan doesn't have a football game that wkend so we'll be Disneyland bound

Aisling--thanks for making those lists. We will pass on the group dining.

Jimmy did great with his wisdom teeth. As long as he takes his pain medication he feels fine. He has very little swelling and no bruising yet. I was very impressed--the doctor (not nurse or secretary) called yesterday to see how he was doing.

Kelly is getting her senior pictures taken today at the beach. This is her 3rd sitting--she's a representative for the school so she gets 3 free sittings. It's going to be hard to choose just a few. So far they all turned out great.

we just now got the letter to call for Ryan's senior pic appt....we'll take some of his at the same beach that we took his sister's; the sad but kind of cool thing is the beach is named Natural Bridges and there's a gorgeous rock formation in the shape of a bridge - however, erosion & whatever else has crumbled the "bridge" section so i think he'll have two rocks in his background....but we'll probably wait another month or so anyway before having them done..

So is now a bad time to tell you I like eat with my hands ?

I spoke to Chad yesterday, he's so cute...we were talking about the cruise and he sais, "do you realize that by the time we cruise Obama may be president?" He's got politics-on-the-brain syndrome for real! Some very good news, though...so far, he's been a straight 4.0 (A) all through grad school, and he's an exceptional writer. Well, he did a 30 page paper His prof gave him an A, and asked him to present the paper in Boston in November at a Conference! Another prof is encouraging him to write a book. All this, and when he was little, he said he wanted to be an astronaut/ comedian! Wow how things have changed!!!!!!!!

One more thing about Chad, is there anyone on our cruise who enjoys talking politics/history/world affairs? He's looking for some conversation over a corona!

Now something about Mel...Mel is a man of few words, and I put him on the phone to Chad and he told Chad, "good job." Coming from Mel, that says a lot, and was very appreciated by Chad.

I have a feeling, though, when we're at the dinner table on the ship, Mel's going to let loose especially being around Artman and his jokes.

OMG I've written so much. I should be getting ready to go down to Tig's in Jersey soon. I just have to get Jesse settled, fed, find out which friend's house he going to be in this evening, and then leave here about 1:30, as it's a 2 hour drive.

Hopefully Tig will let me snap some pics of her scrap party and I can post them from my laptop to this thread on the spot.

Hey everyone..

I am seriously thinking about booking the REAS package.

What is everyone thinking about the night they would upgrade to Palo.. I am not sure which night to do.

Also, Someone posted that the most recent rotation that has Lumiere's on NYE would be the 8:15 seating.

I think that my goal for my 10th anniversary will be to stay in a cat 1 or 2 or 3.. so that gives me 7 yrs (really 6.5 at this point) to get to that place where its something that I can afford. I think that I would also want to do a vow renewal!
