NYE Hard Ticket Party

Just watching the feed of the NYE fireworks and reading of the phased closure (at MK anyway I am not sure about DLR).
And it occurred to me that I wonder why they don't do a hard ticket party for NYE?

Also no closures at DLR (I'm here now). A lot of people already left after the 9pm "east coast midnight" celebration. It was by far not the worst I've seen it for NYE. It's crowded for sure, but not even close to closure crowded.

I think they want these near capacity crowds for NYE. A ticketed event they'd have to keep it capped. It works for the Halloween parties I think, but I don't think it'd work for NYE. I imagine they make more money letting the chaos happen.
