We usually serve apps and a 6 foot hero for our party that vegans at 8 but always have so much sandwich left over. This year I was thinking of doing a Shredded berf in the crockpot. What would you make with it? Help me with some ideas .Thanks Happy New Year!:cool1:

What is a Sheffield beef?

LOL! I tried to google "Sheffield Beef" and couldn't find a thing!:rotfl:

Are you doing a BBQ style shredded beef? I would serve it with coleslaw, wrap bread, pickles, cheese, & and some veggies, like raw red onion and jalapenos.

Yes I was thinking BBQ. I was thinking of getting buns but wraps might be an interesting idea. I also thought coleslaw. Should I make cold salads with it? Potato and macaroni? Might be to heavy with mayo on NYE. Maybe a pasta salad with Italian dressing do you think that would go? I also was thinking of getting a turkey so if someone didn't want the beef, they would have an opinion. Does baked beans go?

My favorite sandwich shop around here serves a pulled pork & shredded beef wraps that are filled with jack cheese, red onions, pickles, and coleslaw & it is absolutely heavenly. You might want to consider a pot of shredded beef and a pot of shredded chicken, so people have options.

I would think baked beans would go, but I am not from a region where BBQ is a staple lol. I think I would serve it with tortilla chips and homemade salsa.
