NYE at Hollywood Studios

ok, so we are at Disney for 10 nights...Dec27-Jan6...NYE: I wanted to see the fireworks at MK, but I know that park will be insane! Thoughts on: HS? What's NYE like there? Apparently last year they did have fireworks...thoughts???

We used to go to HS every NYE when the park was open till 3am but last year it closed right after we rang in the new year so we don't go there anymore. NYE used to be awesome there Bc they had an awesome band and it was open so late. This past NYE we went to EPCOT Bc it was open the latest and we had a great time there.

Best advice is watch MK Nye fireworks on Dec 30th (MK does Nye fireworks on 30th and 31st), and then do epcot on the 31st for Nye

HS will likely shoot off fireworks, but it won't be on the level of MK or epcot

Epcot has the best NYE fireworks experience in my opinion.

We have done Epcot and HS. I am of the older generation so I was off to Tower of Terror and Rock N Roller Coaster (walk on) during the fireworks at HS. This was 2 years ago. It was fun and not that crowded.

Epcot is fantastic. I would suggest to either stick around until park closes (1:00 am) or walk out the International Gateway and go to HS to get a bus. It took us 2 hours to get back to Wilderness Lodge after Epcot fireworks last year. Gonna try MK this year, boat back to WL after.
