NYE at HHI

Tennessee has been experiencing a unusual cold spell - highs in 20s and 30s for the past week. I know to our Northern friends we are just whining, but heck that is cold - I NEED SUN. So I call DVC.

Just called and got a cash ressie at Hilton Head for this weekend. The weather is suppose to be beautiful - mid-70s for a high. So I will countdown to midnight from South Carolina this year.

Has it not warmed up in TN as it has just south? We're in the high 50s today expected to be in the 60s this weekend. Of course, any excuse to get to HHI is a good one.

Be sure to tell us your experience! I've been thinking it might be fun to do NYE at HH one of these years, especially after adding on there this year.

It is suppose to start warming up today. But I still need to defrost from the 12 degree temp we had on Xmas eve. Like you said any excuse to go to HHI. Plus it is my anniversary. So DH could not say no.

We were there last year in a GV - it was not warm though! Had the fireplace going the whole time! Have a great time. They don't do a whole lot but I love the place and anytime is a good time to be there! I'll be missing it our first year up north in the snow!
