The Transatlantic starts in Port Canaveral and makes a port stop in New York.

We won't know until DCL releases the rest of 2015 at a later date.

The Europe cruises are on the Magic, and the Transatlantic departs from Port Canaveral: http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/c...ries/15-night-transatlantic-eastbound-cruise/ I am glad it doesn't leave from NYC, because I plan to spend a few days at WDW before boarding in PC.

Too bad they don't give the option to just sail PC to NYC. I wouldn't be flying home after a WDW trip. Take the boat instead.

The ship can't sail from PC to NYC with passengers onboard unless it continues to a foreign port.

2016 will be Disney Cruise Line last chance to get my money.
I won't cruise if I have to pay for airfare too.

My kids & hubby want to go to WDW if we are going to fly in FL. Not fly there and go on the ship.

I hope Disney is monitoring this site and see's this. I have no less the 10 families waiting for the announcement today so we could all try to book our NYC cruise together. Now none of us will be cruising Disney.......

In 2012, DCL offered cruises out of NYC for 2 itineraries -- either New England and Canadian coastline, or south to the Bahamas. I believe there are 1 or 2 other cruiselines that base out of NYC and run south.

The current "port stop" in NYC in enroute from Port Canaveral FL and across the Atlantic to Europe.

My family did the 2012 NYC Bahamas cruise. It was the best vacation!! I am still holding out hope for Canada/New England out of NYC in the fall of 2015

As a previous poster mentioned in 2012 they did New England/Canada, Bahamas and 2 night to nowhere. Folks began hoping that DCL would do NYC to Bermuda, as well. Others cruise lines go to Bermuda out of the NY/NJ area, as well as, Baltimore.

There are ten of thousands of Disney and DCL fans in the NY, NJ, CT and Pa area that would jump on a NYC cruise. I remember people from Massachusetts, as well as, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia taking advantage of the one niece of a NY departure.......no airfare......

That is why so many of us are disappointed!
