ny cruises with port canaveral stop-dinner on ship?

When they went to WDW on the 8-Night cruises from Galveston, there were a lot of folks that thought they were going to get back in time for dinner in the MDR. When we went (twice, 2 different cruises) to Animal Kingdom first and did the Safari ride and hit Rainforest Café (fish n chips), got to Epcot and rode a couple of rides before hitting MK and eat at the Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café (Rotisserie chicken). We stayed until after the fireworks and then headed back to the ship. Actually the longer you wait, the less people will be trying to get back to the ship. We made a whole day of it and really enjoyed it.

It is a one day hopper pass. Good for all 4 parks. The return buses will run about an hour after each park closes. I think the latest park closing is MK at 9pm, at least on our Disney Day. The ship is not leaving PC until midnight, so we have plenty of time to get back to the ship.

Mk is open until 10pm on our day - 10/26 (well actually 12am for onsite EMH). I'm assuming they will tell us the last bus times back, as we plan to stay at MK until as late as we can!

When I went in 2012 I took a 6:30 am bus to MK, and they let us in as "resort" guests for EMH at 8 am that day (got there just in time for park opening). My plan was to park hop from MK to Epcot to DHS and head back to the ship after Fantasmic. I was so worn out from the July heat and humidity at CC the day before that I ended up on a bus around 4 pm from DHS and got back to the ship in time for that open seating dinner and a showing of Brave that night. I did end up cooling off in the Poly lobby (and used the wifi) when I stopped over there for lunch and relaxed again at the BW rocking chairs on my walk between Epcot and DHS.

Got off the ship yesterday, fantastic cruise. For WDW day, we were back on the ship in time for dinner, it was open seating in Cariocas or Lumieres from 6-9, and then Cabanas buffet after 9. We did the dinner in Lumieres, it was a good menu. We watched Spider Man Homecoming in the big theater after, they had the movie instead of a show. All well done!
