NWA refund

I have NWA nonrefundable tix that I may have to cancel. On legacy carrier, does nonrefundable mean literally losing the entire ticket price, or simply a change fee (NWA = $100 per ticket change fee) with a credit or similar?

You usually have a year from the original purchase date to use the credit - a change fee.

Most airlines give you one year from the date of purchase to use the credit toward another flight on that airline. However, some airlines give you less time. I would call Northwest and ask the representative what the restrictions are. I would also make sure to note the agent sine and location of who you spoke to just incase you have any problems.
