NWA at home check in and choosing seats

Hi,

We leave for Pensacola on Tuesday flying Northwest. I bought my tickets online and was not able to select seats for two of the flights down. (only exit rows and Premiumseats left).

My question is if I check in at home instead of the airport, can I pick the good seats from home or is that only done at the airport?

Any know? Thanks.

You can pick from any seat available. At least that was my experience in Feb of this year w/NWA when I did online check in both ways on a round trip..

You should be able to pick any seats(including exit rows,no kids though). I have done Continental(30 hrs) and US AIR(24 hrs) boarding passes from home and was able to select exit rows with both airlines from home.
