Hi All!
Some of you might remember my panic at having to go for the interview last september for the post of LSA in an Autistic school . :earseek:
Well now I have just started the teaching assistant NVQ3 today:Pinkbounc
I wish I had been able to do this job years ago, it is so rewarding:D I just love it
My ds who will be 21 this year has aspergers syndrome, be it mild and goes to uni in glamorgan.
These kids are soooo special

Congratulations Jeanette. I'm a FS teacher. We have two kids with us who have autism, it's hard work but very rewarding. I have a child in my class with Down's Syndrome and seeing him progress is JUST amazing!! Hope you enjoy your new job.

I have an NVQ in Early Years Care and Education and I wish I had done it years ago, I love all the children and get so much pleasure from them though 1 or 2 can be slightly challenging!!!...lol.
