FOr those who have driven? Where is a good place to stay overnight along 95? DH and I re driving and he doesn't want to do it all in one day. I would like to be about 4 hours from WDW for the second days drive so we can check-in mid day and enjoy the resort and such.

Our family has always driven to FL (once every 2-3 years), and we found that the Embassy Suites in Brunswick, GA is a great place to stay overnight. Our last stay there was in '99 and it was nice, quiet and clean. We'll probably stay there again this March. It is attached to a mall, so if you arrive before closing time you can do some walking and stretch your legs too.

We always stop in Brunswick, GA as well. I get a cheap, clean hotel via Priceline. WDW is 3 hours from Brunswick

We've stopped in Savannah a couple times. We always stay at the Hampton Inn on Abercorn st.

We always stop in Brunswick Ga. and stay at the Hampton Inn. That leaves just about 4 hours (give or take) to WDW.

Annapolis to Brunswick is between 11 and 12 hours. It depends of course on traffic, number/length of pit stops and how fast you drive. We like to fly low.

We stayed at the COuntry Inn and Suites in Kingsland Ga. in June, which is jsut south of Brunswick. It's new and very nice and very clean with an indoor pool. Our room had a refrigerator. The rates were good and you also recieve a dining discount at 3 nextdoor restaurants. One's an Applebee's, the other is a great Italian place where we dined. I don't remember the third. It was right next door to the hotel and shared the parking lot. It's about 200 miles from WDW and it took us a little over 3 hours to get there. Be sure to get gas while you're there. It's more expensive in FL.
