...And for a change,not because my clothes are so tight I can't breathe ! Everything I own is too big! I'm going out tonight and I have nothing to wear!!!
Everything I own looks awful! I look like I shopped in a dumpster!!
I'm washing a pair of jeans in hot,hot water. I hope they shrink !!

Amen to the shopping idea! I went through this recently and the only problem I find is I have to hold myself back on how MUCH I buy because I bought new clothes then quickly proceeded to get too little for those also! Fortunately one more size down and I'll have bins full of jeans/shorts/etc to wear because Ms Packrat here held on to them for almost 6yrs+. LOL

But shopping is SOOOOOO much more fun when you're shopping for SMALLER sizes. Go have a blast- even if you have to do it on a budget -it can be done!

That is wonderful, but I know how frustrating that is. I am so tired of having baggy butt (and legs), but I just hate the thought of buying transition clothes. A friend of mine has been handing down some of her clothes and I did buy a pair of smaller jeans just to get me through, but it is hard when you are feeling good and you don't have the clothes to show it off.

Also, here's a tip for ya - when I went down a size I got rid of all of my "fat clothes" so that I could never get back into them again. Now just recently when I started gaining some of the weight back that I had lost, it really woke me up when all of my pants were getting uncomfortable. I know I don't want to buy a bigger size so I'm back getting serious again.

Sometimes I roll the top of the jeans down and wear a shirt that covers the roll. I even pin them if they don't stay rolled. This way I can still wear them. I did that for a while, then finally went out and bought 5 new outfits for Spring, but I still roll some of my jeans. It sounds dumb, but it works for me, especially because I know I'm going to go down another size by the end of the month...hopefully!

GREAT JOB!!!

I had the same dilemma & finally last weekend I gave myself permission to buy two outfits, SO I DID!!! I didn't even care that they weren't on sale!! I felt I deserved it... The two shirts will also fit when I get smaller as well, so that was a bonus... Anyways, I've been living in those two outfits all week!! Washing in between of course It feels great to have something fit that actually is five sizes smaller than I was!!!
