OMG, they need to remove this stuff from the grocery store shelves before I eat it all myself. :lovestruc No, really, this is not good. My son had it at his girlfriend's house, then asks me to buy it. Next thing I know, I'm sitting in front of the tv with the whole jar and a spoon! I have put it on everything (it's quite good on pancakes) and am actually having a sandwich with it now (on whole grain deli rounds, if that matters ). Heck, I'd brush my teeth with it if it weren't brown!

To give you an idea, it's the same stuff that they put inside Ferraro Rocher candy (made by the same company). They market it as healthy (akin to peanut butter) but I'm somehow doubting it.

I have taken on an extra aerobics class to support this new habit!

wait until you see the giant double pack at Costco! :lmao::lmao::rotfl::rotfl::lovestruc:lovestruc

Best use of Nutella ever - I had this in Las Vegas at the Paris breakfast buffet:

a fresh hot Belgian waffle - topped with a giant scoop of Nutella - topped with a giant scoop of whipped cream.:love::love:

I did not hear you say any of that. La la la la, I can't hear you, la la la.....

Another really tasty option is to take a slice of poundcake, spread some nutella on it and cover with fresh strawberries.

Oh, and if you like coffee, you can melt some nutella in the microwave and use it to make yourself a hazelnut mocha.

It sounds really good, but I haven't bought any because when i looked at the ingredients the first is sugar, and the second is palm oil. and the artificial flavor turned me off too. ( not that i eat super healthy all the time )..........
I was looking at it in BJs very tempting :)

Oh I'm under no illusion that it's healthy, don't worry. It's my one and only "bad snack" and I'm trying to be careful!

Nutella is better than ANYTHING.. sex, chocolate, shopping, and dare I say it, Disney World.

I'm obessed.

ckay87, I love Nutella, my deterrant is my DD who is allergic to peanuts/tree nuts. You can borrow her anytime! ;)

LOL! I have other bad snacks, LOL so I couldn't shouldn't add another.
I looked at it because the ads make it sound healthy :rotfl:

Yum! I love Nutella. I haven't had it in a while though. I think I need to pick some up at the store!:rotfl2:

A crepe with Nutella, fresh fruit and cookie crumbles...:cloud9:

The combinations in a crepe are endless!

I absolutely adore Nutella. I had it for breakfast this morning, on a piece of whole wheat toast (that makes it healthy :thumbsup2 ) I will put it on anything I can imagine. Fruit, cookies, rice krispie treats.

When I studied in Paris, they had Nutella everywhere, I swear I ate a crepe that had Nutella on it in one form or another every single day. Nutella plain, Nutella with banana, Nutella with strawberries, Nutella with coconut, the list goes on and on.

Now the kicker? I supposedly have a nut allergy  Only I never have any issues with Nutella. Give me an almond, and my face blows up like a balloon. Same with a walnut. Maybe the way they process Nutella takes out all the nuttiness that I'm allergic to? Or is it possible to be allergic to other tree nuts, but not hazelnuts? Either way, I'm going to keep enjoying my Nutella.

nutella IS better than anything, as someone stated!!!!! :yay:

another good place to get it affordable is B&Js warehouse - larger jar way more affordable than grocery stores!!!!!

I use it many of the ways stated - and love to warm up waffles and use it with peanut butter - all yummy and melty!:)

Luckily, I have been able to conquer the impulse to go to the cupboard and get a spoonful!

my DH's favorite cookie is one I make with Nutella!

Nutella with coconut, hmmmmm....that's a new one I will have to try!

Wow, with very little effort, we could get together and publish an un-official Nutella cookbook. Who's with me??? :cheer2:

I LOVE Nutella! I'm 43 and I've been eating it since I was probably 10 years old. YUM!

I know it certainly isn't healthy and I'm doing low carb anyway so I only have it once in a great while as a treat with some strawberries or a teaspoon full on my low carb ice cream but man, do I miss it.

I indoctrinated my two girls at a young age and they LOVE it too. They have it with crepes, pancakes, toast, fruit, ice cream and on weekends for breakfast, I'll put it inside Pillsbury croissants before I bake them!

I've told my girls if I ever get another dog that I want a chocolate colored dog and I will name it "Nutella". :thumbsup2

My personal favorite - Rold Gold Pretzel Rods dipped right into the Nutella jar! And just to give it a Disney nod, I noticed the last time I bought the "used to be a bargain" dipped pretzel rods at Goofy's Candy Kitchen that they used Rold Gold pretzels!

First time I had Nutella was in Italy on a croissant - sigh...

Giada De Laurentiis talks about Nutella all the time.

Funny you should mention Paris Las Vegas. I had Nutella in a crepe at the crepe stand just across the walkway from the Paris buffet. :rotfl2:

Yum. :cloud9:

At our house, we like Nutella on a slice of French bread.

The best thing I ever made with Nutella is from Giada De Laurentiis. You take you heat up some oil, take wonton wrappers and fill with Nutella and then fold them over to make a triangle (use egg wash to seal them) and then fry until golden brown and then dust with powedered sugar. I make these, eat a few and then put the rest in plastic bags and put in the fridge. Then when I want some more I just heat them in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds.

I can't even begin to explain how good they are.

I just bought it last night for the 1st time.

It was a little too much for me. :guilty: I think I spread it on too thick because, after a few bites, I started to get a little queasy from the sweetness.

It was good though, but I think less is more for me!

I'm going to have to try it on some hot waffles.

I had no idea it was the same stuff in those Rocher things. Interesting. :)
