Hi all

I've been away from the boards for ages as I didn't have any trips planned for a couple of years, but I'm back!

Does anyone have experience of holidaying in Orlando with someone who suffers from nut allergies? Are restaurants generally helpful/understanding, and also what is the food labelling in supermarkets like?

All advice gratefully received!

Sorry - don't know the answer - but I would guess that you will find them all very helpful, especially Disney. Hopefully someone with experience will answer shortly.

Welcome back to the DIS!

Hi Lindsay,

My daughter has a peanut allergy, and we had to carry her epi-pen everywhere.

We had no problems at all in any of the places we ate! We told the CM's when we booked PS's about her nut allergy and everyone was really helpful.

No problems at all.

And outside of WDW - Denny's, IHOP etc - all great!!

You'll be fine!

Thanks Lorraine and Julie- you have put my mind at rest regarding eating out. I think I will try the US boards to find out about labelling in supermarkets etc.
thanks again
