nursung discount?

Hi Tammy here I read somewhre they some hotels offer a nurses discount, does anyone know which ones? And do ya think nursing school counts?

The only resorts to give a nursing discount are the Swan and Dolphin. It's not always available but worth checking into. You can check your dates right here on the DIS for discounts at S/D. Hope this helps!

Swan and Dolphin offer both teachers and nurses discounts, but you must show proof of employment in the designated field.

When I stayed at the Dolphin I showed them my RN license. They told me when I reserved that I could also use my hospital picture ID with credentials. I would think that your school ID badge would also work but I would ask them just to be sure.

The discount at the S & D is for nurses, teachers and also government employees...I am a cop and my wife is a nurse, so maybe we could get a double discount!!...lol...

Just getting the word out for my fellow brother and sister officer's and their families!!!

Also, there are only limited rooms available at the discount rate (which can be as low as $129 a night)...so book early!!!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU GUYS for starting this thread! My mother is a nurse and had no idea that there were discounts at the Swan And Dolphin for nurses, so I was able to tell her. You guys have just made her day so thanks so much!

I saw the title "nursing discount" and I thought perhaps Disney had a discount for breastfeeding mothers. I was picturing a whole lot of moms with a whole lot of kids strapped to their breasts to get those discounts.
