Nursing in the parks

Thanks! I'm new here and didn't check out the other forum, but I will now! I'm not overly modest, but I did have a negative nursing in public experience and am a bit paranoid now, especially in a place swarming with people. I just figured if I heard some good examples of places that people found comfortable in, I would try to utilize them. Can't wait to bring my new little guy there for his first time!

sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Some people can be rude for no reason. I nursed my lil one last year pretty much every where and had no issues at Disney what so ever. I have to admit that the baby centers are awesome but it was an aggrevation to always go back to it. I found benches here and there out of the way but my favorite places where attractions. When it was feeding time, she wouldn't get distracted so I usually would make my way to either "movie" attractions ( either 3d or something like the great movie ride) or slow moving attractions. I had a/c and the older girls where enjoying Disney

Nursed all my babies in the park. The only looks I got were kind ones. lol that doesn't promise no jerks but it is a family friendly place.

My wife discovered that FL state law specifically states women have the legal right to nurse their child in public, so nurse away ladies...both our babies were great at nursing, my son nursed for 15 months, my daughter for 27 months.
