I am nursing a 4 month old who has some sensitivities to dairy. She really just has issues with the obvious dairy items (milk, cheese, sour cream, ice cream, etc.). Does anyone know if Ohana will allow me to get rice dream on top of the bread pudding instead of regular ice cream?

if they have it, it shouldn't be a problem. They may have tofutti instead of rice dream

Yes, they do have rice dream there, and I'm sure they'd be able to swap it out.

Just a warning though, that bread pudding has a lot of dairy in it. Here's a recipe of it that I found online:

5 eggs
3 cups whole milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 cup sugar
8 cups french or 'Ohana breakfast bread

1. In bowl mix eggs, milk , salt, sugar and nutmeg. Set aside.
2. Cut bread in medium pieces, place on cookie sheet pan put in 350 degree oven.
3. Bake bread until lightly toasted, about 15 minutes. Remove bread and place in egg and milk mixture.
4. Place mixture in a greased 10-inch cake pan and bake at 325 degree for 1 hour.
5. Let stand 5 minutes, serve hot with ice cream.

BANANA FOSTER SAUCE
4 oz sugar
4 oz brown sugar
4 oz corn syrup
4 oz unsalted butter
1cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1cup spiced rum
1cup banana slices

Hope that helps and best of luck on your trip!

Agree with both previous posters.
I haven't made THAT bread pudding, but have made bread pudding - there is a lot of dairy in it.

OP, you may know this already, but if you eat dairy, it can take up to 2 weeks for the dairy to get out of your system.

Good luck! I had a baby with dairy issues too.
