I was just wondering what would resort would you put for number one for the following questions:

5 What resort do you think is most conviently located

#2 Y&BC, BCV & boardwalk resort area

I think you're looking for an answer for each question.

THE BEST:

Best pool = Yacht/Beach Club
Best restaurant = Grand Floridian
Best theme = Polynesian
Most to do = Yacht/Beach Club
Convenient = Yacht/Beach Club


THE WORST:

Worst pool = Out of the resort pools I'm familiar with I'd say CBR.
Worst restaurant - All Stars - they only have a food court
Worst theme = NONE. They're all wonderful in their own way.
Least convenient = All Stars

I'd have to say YC/BC for Stormalong Bay. But I also REALLY love the theme pools at the GF and Poly.


2. What resort do you think has the best resteraunt?

That's a tough question. My favorite restaurant is Ohana at the Poly... but there are great restaurants everywhere. GF, Poly, WL, CR, YC, and AKL.


3. What resort do you think has the best "theme"?

That's tough. Hmmmm.... I guess I'd have to say it's a 4-way tie between the GF, Poly, WL, and YC. Sorry.


4 What resort do you think has the most to do?

Definitely the Epcot resorts. YC, BC, BWI, Swan, and Dolphin. They just offer tons of nightlife, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc.


5 What resort do you think is most conviently located?

Depends on where you're going to spend your time. If you're fav is MK then definitely a monorail resort. If you love Epcot and MGM then the resorts down there are best.


For the worst I'd have to say All Star Music was our worst experience in every category. We were in misery.

This is fun! OK here are my answers:

Best pool? Y&BC
Best restaurant? BC-Beaches & Cream(I'm a simple gal )
Best theme? GF
Most to do and convienently located? BWI/BWV

Worst pool? I really don't know
Worst restaurant? Pepper Market at CSR well it really isn't a restaurant, but it's the only one I really don't like at a resort!
Worst theme? ASSMu
Least convienent? All AS resorts but tied with AKL.

I do have to say that my favorite resort is the BW. Villas or the Inn. Followed closly by the GF.

I agree, this is fun!

1) Best pool- BC/YC, but, my ds6 loves the pool at WL also!
2) Best restaurant- We love Ohanas @ Poly
3) Best theme- A three way tie GF/WL/Poly
4) Most to do- Probably YC/BC/BWI
5) Most conv. located- I would say Poly d/t being so close to the TTC and on the Monorail line and also boat acsess


Worst? We have only stayed at the Deluxe resorts (all of them except BWI!) and we have enjoyed them all! So different, but all wonderful!!!

High end: V&A @ GF; normal restaurant: Polynesian, 'Ohana

AKL (although it's not my favorite--that's an objective opinion. My favorite is Polynesian)

4 What resort do you think has the most to do

TIE: YC/BC and BWI

5 What resort do you think is most conviently located?

That's tough--I think Polynesian is most conveniently located to MK and has easy access to EPCOT via monorail and FW by boat/bus. If EPCOT is your location of choice, then it's a tie between YC/BC and BWI. Personal preference POLYNESIAN.


WORST:

Pool: Any of the All Stars. . .

Restaurant: Any resort with a food court, only, since that doesn't qualify as a restaurant.

Theme: Contemporary. . .what theme?

Least to do: All Stars. . .

Least Convenient: For sheer distance, All Stars and AKL.

I am afraid I can only respond with the deluxe hotels - they're the only ones I've ever stayed at. Here goes w/ a little reason why:

BEST: I agree with everyone else Yacht & Becah Club for Stormalong Bay - when it's working that is. Otherwise the new zero entry at Grand Floridian - it's grewat to lounge in the water and look out at the 7 seas.

WORST: The Contemporary.

2. What resort do you think has the best restaurant (sp)?
BEST: For character breakfasts - GF 1900 Park Fare (a little more intimate and more comfortable setting than Chef Mickey's at Contemporary.
Lunch - Grand Floridian Cafe
Dinner - WL - Whispering Canyon. Yes, GF's Victoria & albert's is nice, but terribly overpriced.

WORST: Concourse Steakhouse at Contemporary, overpriced, food was cold. and service was lousy.


3. What resort do you think has the best "theme"?
BEST: GF - it takes us all back to a gentler, peaceful, and tranquil time and the staff does it's best to play along.

WORST: Contemporary - it's old, it's dated, the future then is now and it barely resembles it.

4 What resort do you think has the most to do
and........
BEST: GF - handsa down - there's the SPA, and the fitness room, and tennis, and boating, and did I mention the SPA and its wonderful masseuse's.

WORST: AKL - you can only watch animals SO long.

5 What resort do you think is most conviently located.
BEST: GF - it's on the monorail and the busses seem to come a bit more frequently there. Yes, the Contemp and Poly are on the Monorail too, but the Contemp is very noisy and the Poly is in the middle of all the stops.

WORST: AKL - other than AK, you're stuck.
