lets compare pictures.

here i am earlier today, hair straightened n lookin very fresh n presentable.

fast foward a few hours and we have..

AUUUGHHHH!!!!

i really hate humidity. east coast summers are awful.
do any of you guys know of any products that can help me combat frizzy wavy summer humidity hair??? it drives me crazy!! i always look a hot mess by the end of the day. (see pic 2)


(number two complaint about summer: MOSQUITOES!!!! followed by number three complaint: sunburn!!)

are you enjoying your summer and not letting humidity, mosquitoes and sunburn ruin it for you?

Its VERY humid here. And hot. Average June Nashville humidity is 60% (afternoon) to 89% (morning). June average high is 85F. But this year has been VERY hot, its going to be 94ish today.

It's VERY humid where I live. I don't mind it. I've learned to live with it. I let my hair do what it wants. I'll always be frizzy with a side of its temptation to curl.

Hahaha, sunburn. I went to Cape May for a few days and got back yesterday. I have SUCH bad sunburn around my shoulders, and my thighs. Before I got my hands on aloe, I couldn't sit.

But yes, this summer is great so far.

It's not very humid or hot here.
It's annoying, I don't want another summer like last summer.
Normally summers on the East coast of Canada are hot, almost too hot to bear.
But this year, it's been off and on. One day it's sunny and beautiful, and the next I'm in jeans!

Thing I hate about summer: my friends work complete opposite hours of me, I have time to take first aid now, so I have to, annnnnnnnnnnd sunscreen.

humidity doesn't bother me that much because i usually wear my hair curly in the summer, if i tried to straighten it it would be a disaster.

mosquitos havent really been a big problem for me this year, its kind of odd actually. i havent been bitten once!

sun burn. don't get me started.

Sunburn doesnt bother me because it tans...I do have a pretty sick farmers tan and flip flop tan(looks like my feet wore thongs...lol

I havent really been annoyed with mosquitos yet but the summer is early and the jersey shore is full of them

Iowa summers bug me. First it's 90+ degrees during the day, then it gets windy, and then it thunderstorms and there's tornadoes and crap...I hate it

The humidity is killing me too. I use John Frieda Frizz-Ease cream and that helps. Any product with a lot of silicons and stuff should help.
I am hating on summer right now. I have a sunburn on the tops of my arms only and a million bug bites. -___-

The humidity is killing me too, I don't even bother with my hair anymore, I just rock the updo & call it good. hahah I tried straightening my hair a few days ago & it looked good for about .4 seconds then it started to frizz. :/ So now I just let my hair go naturally & put some product in it or I just put it up in a bun or pony tail.

i've have weird sunburns like that. once i tried to sun screen my own back, then went tanning and had finger print marks in all the places i couldn't quite reach. NOT ATTRACTIVE.

and yea sigh same for me. my shoulders are sun burned a little right now, and i was at a bonfire the other night, and for some reason i guess my feet were extra tasty to bugs because i seriously have like 10-15 bug bites on my feet. theyre so itchy

I'm in Florida and it's been hotter than it normally is at this time of year. It's been in the 90s with a crazy humidity index, making it even hotter than it is. We haven't had rain in a few days either, so the temperature just keeps climbing and climbing.

I definitely make sure to get enough AC and water, so it's bearable. I don't think I have sunburn, but my feet may have gotten a little. I've just been mostly tanning from walking around at the theme parks. I really should use sunblock, but I hate that sticky feeling and the smell.

My hair's always frizzy and uncooperative, so it's no different now that it's hotter. I think my hair actually looks better right now than it normally does, but whatever.

I live in Texas and the humidity becomes unbearable at nine in the MORNING!! I can get used to it after about July 5th or so but right now I hate it and wishes it was fall(but I don't wanna go back to school)

It's very humid where I live (South Jersey), but I love it. I plan on moving to Florida as soon as I gradute college. My ideal weather is hazy, hot, and humid. <3

As for hair products, I use Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk when I wear it down. My hair doesn't really frizz, it just kinda gets a lot of volume and curls around the bottom...it's hard to explain, but it's definitely not frizz. It's strange. But when I use this stuff, it mostly stays the way i want it to. I would also recommend John Freida Frizz-Ease. I hear that works really well.

Mosquitos apparently, can smell my blood from miles away, because I ALWAYS get like 10 bug bites a night, ON EACH LEG!! Ughh..I hate it. We got a bug zapper with a mosquito bait, and in my backyard I'll only get like one bite total. It's a real lifesaver.

As for sunburn..oh wow. I went to the shore last weekend, and I used spray on sunblock, and now I have patches of burned skin and patched of normal skin. It's so awkward looking!! lol But it's turning to tan now, so it'll be ok.

The humidity here is terrible! I hate it by the end of the day our hair has frizzed and is sticking to your neck. I get sunburned all the time and this year was the worst my whole face is red and so are my arms. And I can't get away from misquioes. I have been biten the most this year than ever. This summer has sucked
