Number of Posts?

Just noticed today, ( someone else with low post number was being picked on) that although I've posted several times today and my posts hasn't changed.

Are you looking at posts from earlier in the day and later in the day and seeing the same post count? If so, that's the way the system is supposed to work.

The post count doesn't show you what number a particular post is - it gives you the total number by the poster. So, if you make more posts at a later date, the post count updates.

The post count update has low priority in regards to the system and doesn't update immediately all the time, especially when board activity is high.

Eventually it catches up.
