Number of pillows

Weird question. How many pillows usually come in a studio? Can you ask for more just like you are in a normal hotel? Thanks!!!

Depending on the resort you're at, you may have more pillows than you realize. There are three different types of sofa beds DVC uses. One of the models actually has a storage compartment for the pillows in the sofa. This is the model where there's a strap behind the backrest that you pull forward, rather than pulling the bed up out of the seat. If you have that type of sofa, you'll see the pillows as you start to pull it out.

For the other two types of sofa bed, the pillows are on the shelf in the closet.

Last time I was at BLT (two weeks ago), there were 5 or 6 on the bed and none on the pull-out. It's my experience in the past that there are no pillows on the sofa (of the sleeping variety, there are a couple of small throw pillows) because the sofa won't close with them. In this case I assume that Disney intends the Bed to share pillows with the sofa.

I always forget to count and, before concluding the count, you need to pull out the couch (because there may be pillows in slots in the couch) and you need to check the closet because sometimes there are extra pillows and blankets in there. My best recall is that there are usually three to four on the bed and two for the couch-bed but there may even be more sometimes. Whatever it is is never an issue because you can call housekeeping to provide more pillows (and blankets) at no charge.

Are you talking about the new (?) pull outs that have the strap at the top? They have 2 big white pillows that are tucked in under the mattress.

If there are new sofas at BLT you may be right, but when I've used the sofas with guests previously I've never found pillows on/in the sofa bed.

DVC uses three different types of sofa beds. One of the three styles has a compartment to hold the pillows. (As PP says, this is the one that folds down from the top.) For the other two styles, housekeeping puts the pillows on the shelf in the closet. I can't remember which style of pull-out they have at BLT.
