Now which ticket is everyone buying for Halloween Horror Nights XX!!!

Don’t know about the rest, but this is what I am planning to get. Hope this is the best option for me.

I will be attending the opening weekend, both days, so I believe the best option for me would be the FREQUENT FEAR PASS WITH EXPRESS PASS. This way, I can do all houses early, and redo them afterwards with the Express Pass, on both days.
My wife will just be joining me for one day (Friday the 24th). If I am not mistaken, I would be better to get for her the Stay and Scream and if she likes our first round of the houses, I could then get her the Express Pass in Guest Services inside the park. Does this sound good?

Below, ticket options :thumbsup2

I realllly want Frequent Fear with Express, for I planned on attending mulitple times, but due to some sudden circumstances, I will only be going once and hopefully with a RIP Tour

I'm trying to decide. I go so many times (usually) that the FFP is required but I'm not sure about the EP. By the time I've gone five or six times, I will have done everything multiples times so I won't need it. But...if friends come down and they buy the EP for that night, I would like to go through the houses with them. I won't decide until mid-September when I usually buy the tickets.

I wonder why the Frequent Fear Plus Express Pass says that it should be bought ahead of time as passes can sell out. These can't sell out... can they? They are FFP..

Why would people who bought FFPs in past years without express suddenly feel they need to have it just because it's "cheap"?

I have to give US credit for this. They managed to come up with a way that gets people to spend $70+ on an item they never needed and, since they have the express line anyway, is 99.999% pure profit.

Other rumors have hotel guests being able to buy Express for HHN for around $10-20 bucks. Seems a lot of people complained about Express being the only reason they stayed at the hotel and not able to use it for HHN, so Universal gave in. It's going to make for a very crowded Express line. Of course, the FFP with Express is said to be sold in limited quantities, and perhaps Universal will go back to having nights "Sold Out"...yeah right.

does anyone know if there is any truth to this before I go ahead and purchase tickets---I'd hate to buy an express pass for $40 if they are going to be $20 at the hotel:confused3

That seems hard to believe but at this point anything is possible I guess. I can't imagine an EP costing $20.00 for hotel guests and it being unlimited like the day time passes...if that's what you're saying? Of course you have to add the room cost in there too but it still seems hard to believe.

I don't think it would be unlimited I think it would be just like the regular HHN express pass with one use per house/ride.

However if they do this I think the express line will be just as long as the regular line.

is there anyone on these boards that works onsite at the hotels that can confirm if this rumor is even true??

This is very interesting to know. I am staying onsite during my trip and instead of paying the 165 FFP plus Express Access, I could buy the regular FFP and then two express passes for Friday and Saturday opening weekend for 20 bucks each. :cool1:... I actually tried buying my pass this morning but got an error with the transaction. I called and they did not charge it so I have a second shot at it and maybe wait for some feedback on this subject of the express pass...

How long will we have to wait to find out for sure?

I called Royal Pacific and was put on hold for several minutes, transferred to someone else who also put me on hold and was told that they were not aware of this being offered:confused3 however keep in mind that 2 weeks ago I called the ticket# on the halloween horror website and asked about the FFP with express and that lady had no idea what I was talking about and tried to get me to purchase a regular FFP and my express seperately.

I'm going to hold out a few weeks and see what comes of this before I purchase my tickets.

All HHN EPs are limited, I've been there numerous times over the years on nights when they were sold out.

I have already purchased the FFP with Express. I hadn't heard about the discounted Express for hotel guests and if they end up offering it I'm going to be a little upset because that would have been a better deal for me. What's done is done...looking forward to it either way.

Did you buy it from the website? I am having problems buying it online.

Marquibiri

Yes, I bought it through the website.

Have you been able to get it to go through?

Hey lauren,

Nope, not yet. Haven't tried again. I was hoping some info on the rumor about the express pass for onsight guests to come out. I do receive a daily email from Universal saying that the transaction was not complete and to try again! :goodvibes

I'll give a couple more days and if no discount comes out, will retry to buy online.

Thanks!

Marquibiri :thumbsup2

Any validity to this discounted express pass for on-site guests? I want to purchase express for October 29th and October 31st, but don't want to waste my money if a cheaper option exists. Every rep I've gotten on the phone has never heard of this option.

I wouldn't believe it until something official comes from Universal.
