Well, the UPS man just delivered my Baggallini (espresso brown for those of you who care), Crocs are bought, Disney dollars accounted for, cute shirts from the Disney store -yep!, MVMCP tickets-got 'em, room and tickets paid for -uh huh, airline ressies - check, lime green Mickey heads -fistfull taken from HD, ADRs in order, Itinerary planned....NOW WHAT?????????? I have read the UOG so many times that I stopped laughing out loud at the corny lines. I guess I can laminate some stuff....I know there has to be something to do! Oh well, I guess I'll just put more stuff on Ebay to start saving for our next trip...life's rough. :rotfl:

This is the worst part--WAITING TO GO!!!

Before you know it, it will be here.

We leave in 12 days and as much as we are looking forward to it, we know it will be here and then gone. I have already starting thinking on next years trip. At least it keeps me in an uplifting mood. :)

I've got a month to go and really should be able to consider myself done (and what I have just for the trip is already in the suitcase in the closet ... really that is the best place to hide the fact that I've spent WAY too much on stuff I "HAD TO HAVE" for this trip. :rotfl2:). Since the kids are back in school and wear uniforms, I was even considering packing up their clothes for the trip - they only need non-uniform things 2 days out of the week.

Have you purchased glow-cubes? Glow-sticks? Oh, I ordered customized "I can't wait" t-shirts from that Disney custom t-shirt site (another surprise for the kids - will put that out for them to wear on the flight to MCO). I ordered a supply of pins (the better "real ones" from Ebay, and have those packed.

I keep searching Ebay for any other "must haves", and reading these forums to see if there is anything else I just have to buy.

Ah yes, packing lists, glow sticks.....I do need those! Hmmm...what else to keep me occupied!

Write up your pre-trip shopping list.

Take out the luggage and either give it a spray of lysol or stick a dryer sheet in it. Zip it back up and put it away til packing time.

Organize all of your docs. Make lists of your ADR's. Then make lists by day. Then make lists by park. Make lists by person, etc.

--Make a hidden Mickeys list
--Visit the secrets of WDW thread to compile a list of things to seek out; that should take some time
--Practice with your camera (okay, that's probably more about me than you)
--Start a pre-trip TR for here!
--Post your itinerary here for feedback, just to be sure...

Just curious...what are the glow sticks for? :confused3

Glow sticks are great to bring if you have kids. Once the sun starts to set the CM's will start coming out with oodles and oodles of sparkly, flashing, glowing fun things in the attempt to pry more $ out of your wallet because your child "must" have something to wave around in the dark. The glow sticks are usually fun enough to avoid that money pit. You can get glowing necklaces, bracelets, etc. at the dollar store. I've also heard of people having their kids wear glow necklaces to give a little comfort on the dark rides. On our last trip we went to Fantasmic and I had come prepared with glow necklaces, but my boys decided they wanted to spend some of their own souvenir money on flashing swords. They bought those and then when a family with 2 young boys sat next to us and didn't have anything glowing my boys offered their glow necklaces to the little boys next to us. They were so thrilled and you could see the relief in their mom/dad's faces. I was proud of my boys who commented on how good it felt to give their necklaces away to the smaller boys. This trip we will be bringing extras just so we can give them away and spread a little pixie dust. pixiedust:

I almost laughed out loud at this. You sound exactly like me. My family is quite aware of my WDW obsession, but they've never seen the Disboards. If only they knew that I wasn't the only one.

That and the trip back home afterwards.

I don't know why, but that line just made me :rotfl: like crazy. Probably because every time we go to Fantasmic, we start to ponder what the total combined amount of money was spent on glowing things in the entire stadium. Not having kids, we've managed to avoid this little pitfall. :)

Anyway, your line made me laugh so much I had to drag my GF over to read it, too.
