I tried to coordinate twice with two different people to release two different BOG ressies as a result of a change of plans/park days (one lunch, one dinner).
We connected and I released. Somehow both ressies were snatched up by someone else as soon as I released (or they disappeared into the system?).
Today I called to modify a few reservations because we had a party of 5 but now one of our party can't go. I wanted to be a good guest and modify rather than just have one person not show up.
The CM cancelled our Fantasmic lunch at H&V for party of 5 and before she could even get the party of 4 ressie back, someone else had snatched it up. That is insane. She had to put me on hold for a while to get a manager to get us the reservation back.
She explained that with some types of ressies, like Fantasmic and Candlelight Dinner and Eat to the Beat, they have to cancel the first one then rebook under the new number. There is a major problem when that system causes you to lose a reservation in a split second simply by trying to be considerate.
Doesn't motivate me to modify any future dining ressies.
This reservation frenzy is insane.
