Now that the Red Sox has won the World Series, who is getting a furniture rebate?

I'm thrilled beyond belief that the Red Sox has won the World Series again this year, as pretty much everyone in Boston is right now!

But I'm doubly thrilled because I bought my bedroom set and mattress at Jordan's Furniture during the Monster Deal promotion. I'm going to get over $1000 back!

I was so nervous when they were playing the Indians. It was like I had a huge bet on the game. But they did it

So who else bought furniture during the Monster Deal?

well, you'll also be paying taxes on all of your "winnings" too. So make sure you set aside soeme money for that!

That's just for the queen mattress and a cheap bed frame. The foundation for the mattress, and the dresser and night stands aren't included in the deal.

Just like if you bought a couch, love seat, and end tables for your living room, only the couch is eligable for a rebate.

And if you got a dining room table and chairs, only the table gets refunded.

But I'll take it (even if I have to pay taxes on it).

I got a free leather couch and a king size mattress. I had to drag my husband there back in April but he is quite happy I did now. There were a lot of people there the two days we were shopping and some of the guys were saying the Sox had better win this year. I suppose quite a few of them were "forced" to go also.
I bet the insurance company that Jordan's used for this deal is sorry now. They took a big chance with this.
I guess we all had a bit of with this one. (of course the Sox had something to do with it also)

I sent in my forms yesterday. I wouldn't fill them out until they won. I can't wait to get my rebate! From what I read on the website, I'll get the refund as a credit to my credit card, so I guess I know which credit card to use for Christmas shopping.

Dh, a marketing guy, was telling me all about how they had 30,000 customers (or something like that--I am not a marketing guy so my eyes glazed over a bit, lol) during that promotion and it was insured by Lloyd's of London and that it was basically legalized gambling. He was very impressed with the whole thing. Great idea, he said. Unfortunately, we didn't buy any furniture. Drat! Congratulations to all who did! If they do it again next year (the offer from Jordan's), we are gonna go out and buy everything we need!
