Will DHS have anything special for the holidays to light up the park?

Light show will still be there, just slightly scaled back.

I sure hope so. Last year was the first time I was ever at WDW for the holidays, so it was the first time I saw Osborne. Thankfully I got to go twice, Thanksgiving and Xmas. I'm a Christmas decorating junkie, so I was walking around with my jaw on the ground. I was studying everything they did and am trying to incorporate some of it in my display....on a much, much, much smaller scale. I do the whole lights dancing to music thing at my house. It's very involved and time consuming...I work on it 11 months a year.

I expect just the Stars and trees that decorate the poles around Hollywood Blvd and Sunset, also the window displays but that's about it, nothing on the scale of Osborne lights

Oh I hope so. Last time was our first time being there for Christmas decorations and we were blown away.

Glad to hear there will be something! Even scaled back is better than nothing!

There's no word from Disney at all that there will be anything.

I imagine they'll have some lights up here and there but nothing close to the level of the Osbourne Lights. The holidays definitely won't feel the same at HS

When do the lights typically go up in DHS?

Osborne lights start installation in July believe it or not. I would always see the first construction permits in mid-July. With all the work being done in the park I doubt DHS will see any kind of special lights before the new lands open.

Yes, I remember those lights going up in the middle of the summer. Too bad those days are history.

You can count on the Jingle Belles being there!:)

Ginger,Candy Cane,Snowflake,Joy and Holly are legendary and it will be a shame these talented ladies are ever let go!:)

Bumping this up to see if there is any further news of decorations/lights... It is discouraging to think that after EPCOT removed Lights of Winter they never really replaced them with anything significant. :-(

This would be a perfect time for Epcot to bring back their light displays but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm only planning on hitting MK for Christmas stuff this year.

I doubt they will have any park to the extent of the Osborn light display. I could see them doing some extra decorations at DS this year with all the extra space. But I have not heard anything about that.

If we are there between 11/4 through 11/12, will we see any holiday lights? I'm hoping since Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party starts 11/7, although we won't be attending the party, hoping to see full blown holiday lights at MK. And hoping to see it in other parks.....

I went around the 12th in 2013. MK was full blown, Epcot nothing, DHS had Osborne and their other lights, AK had the tree up but that was it. Resorts had very little.
