I love hot chocolate with a shot in it or hard/mulled cider when it gets cold. During the summer we make a great sangria for parties.

Sorta. I usually drink red wine (and recently margaritas). But in the heat of summer, I often don't really like red wine. So more white wine and gin and tonics in the middle of summer.

Whoa, whoa, whoa....lady, you're still pretty! Settle down there and take your own advice. Maybe have a few of those awesome drinks mentioned above.

I was kidding. I read it the same as I do as a "do you still carry the white purse after Labor Day" kind of question. It *is* a first world problem to wonder which alcoholic beverage goes with what season. A *good* problem to have, don't you think? Not sure where the "political" part comes in?

And, I wonder how you know what I have or have not seen in my life that is any more or less than you have seen? That's an awfully weird and slightly immature thing to say to someone that you have never met and have very little information on in a thread that you felt the need to come back on to point out is supposed to be "fun".

FWIW, I love a hot spiked apple cider in the fall. And a good egg nog at Christmas. Frozen Fruity drinks or a nice cold beer in the summer. But if someone else is buying, I'll take whatever they have to offer.
