Now that I'm booked at the Contemporary.....

what will I love? I'm having second thoughts. I've heard some negative things about the Cont. in the past. I just want to make sure we will have a good time. My DH doesn't love Disney and I don't want him to be disappointed. TIA

You will love the proximity to the Magic Kingdom. You may or may not like the room decor, I don't mind it probably because I love the colors. You will like the room size-great to spread out in. I do not mind this resort, in fact I really like it and I have had 2 not so great experiences here. We had a view of the castle the last time we stayed there and waking up and looking at the beautiful colors of the castle at 4AM was magic in itself! I don't even mind the pool, however I don't like the quiet pool with the parents that leave their kids screaming and jumping in and no one watching them. Before anyone flames me I have 5 of the little cherubs myself and would not do this. Hope this helps and pixie dust to you.....remember the magic!

Every single resort has bad things and good things said about it. Someone loves it & someone hates it.

Relax, and have a great trip!! If something is not to your liking, be sure to talk to the front desk CM's!

a couple things i can think of off of the top of my head:

ease of transportation

Great restaurants!

The fourth Floor grand canyon concourse

watching the water pagent/fireworks from the lounge

food and fun center open 24 hours

coffee bar in the lobby.

GREAT gift shops!

monorail in the house, you can't beat that!!!

and yes, if you get a MK view tower room, NO other view like that in the World!!!
