leaves his un-inflated Christmas bear piled up in the middle of his front yard.

I realize that he would have to carry it 20 feet to his garage, and cross the hazardous grass now turned brown due to a recent frost...during the treacherous winter weather here in NW Florida.

I expect the Christmas lights he had installed on his roof will be permanent.

OK...Pick your dates:

I've got January 30th.

:rotfl::rotfl:LMAO

I have Febuary 15th, I think he is holding out for a valenties tree.

Feb 1st. :thumbsup2

January might still feel like the Chirstmas Season to him. :confused3

Well, yesterday was the 12th day of Christmas, so Sat/Sun this weekend

His un-inflated Christmas bear. His front yard. Why should it bother you? :confused3

No one around here is going to get any Christmas decor down any time soon. It is all buried under 45" of snow :lmao:. I can't get to my timer to turn off our outside Christmas lights, neither can our neighbors.

I am going to be optimistic and say Jan 9th which is tommorrow. He MAY actually watch the weather and try it get it up before it rains.

I had to look at your location to make sure you weren't on my street! A neighbor several doors down has the same decoration in the same condition. We come down our street from the other direction so I really don't see it often and really don't care.

My city has an ordinance that decorations have to be down within 7 business day after Jan. 1st....hardly ever enforced though.

Oh, Steve in P'cola, how I wish I was still there. My hometown for 30plus years and I always thought I hated it, now that I'm gone I see it as a really nice place, plus what I wouldn't give to see the beach and the sunshine but more importantly my family.

In Pensacola, those lawn ornaments mary very likely be permanent fixtures, lol maybe by easter!!

I just took my inflatable snowmen down yesterday, but its only cause they've been covered in wet snow for 2 weeks.

I've truly learned that absence does make the heart grow fonder.

I say this weekend.

We haven't taken down decor yet as we don't do it until after New Year's and I was sick from New Year's day to Wednesday. We'll take care of it this weekend.

If my neighbors don't like my reindeer, when they have a spare moment, they are free to come to my yard, unplug it, dig it's box out of the garage (currently crazy needing organization), put it in the box, carry it down to the basement and put it away in storage.:goodvibes

Or they could have the stomach virus, keep my house as neat as possible while sick and homeschool the kids since my husband was out of town and the reindeer bothers them so much.:rotfl:

I can tell you as someone who also lives in FL like the OP, when you have decor outside that can "pool" water in it all you need is one rainy day & it becomes a mosquito magnet.:scared1:

I'm going to guess Feb 1st:goodvibes

That's what I was thinking, as well. Lots of people I know never take their decorations down until the 12 days are over. My guess is he'll pack it away today.

Well, my neighbors left their Halloween decorations up for two weeks after Halloween.

It wouldn't have been too bad but the pumpkins were decomposing badly!!

It was nasty.

I have neighbors (originally from India) and they have colored Christmas lights up year round. They turn them on for all kinds of holidays. I think this is kind of cute they are trying to celebrate our American holidays.

I need to take my Christmas lights down. I had planned to do that this weekend and now I'm coughing my head off and I'm pretty sure I have double ear infections so I won't be going out in the cold and wind to fool with it. I doubt my neighbors care and if they do.... At least 1 other neighbor still has their Christmas lights out also so I'm not alone. lol At least it's a small amount and not tacky.
