Kelly,
Pretty neat picture. Alot easier than it seems isn't it?!

Yup, took literally less than 5 minutes taking the pic, transfer them to the PC, run the program, save it as a file, resize, upload to Photobucket and post it on the DIS.

You did good Kelly!

Kelly and Martha: you all inspired me to work on my PhotoStitch program last night. Here is the best one I did. Now I am looking for places to take the right scene. Thanks for the inspiration.

That's cool. So I'm guessing that I probably have that software with my new Canon. I have not loaded the CD, I have just downloaded using the Card Reader that came as the "package".

We spent the day at AK - boy - what a day - but that's a story for another board! I am still getting the feel for the camera, and I find it difficult in the bright sun sometimes to really know if the shot is good.

I need to get better at "zooming" ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM...

Here are a couple of my favs. We did the safari (of course my batteries ran out right before the giraffes and zebras and I couldn't get to the extras fast enough... that's kind of how the day went!) I did get some elephants and primates -mostly in the Pangani Exploration Trail.

DD and DD (that's Dear Daughter and Donald Duck)

Um... this would be an elephant.
I know it's been posted before, but I was quite happy with the Exepedition Everest photo. This was about 3:30pm. I got some shots mid morning as well.

You use the S2IS, right Mak? Really nice pictures! Especially Donald!

Yes my new S2IS!!! See my new thread- DD turned out great, but the one with Mickey :sad2:

Alright, you all have inspired me. I'm going to try to post my first photostitch here. We'll see what happens.

Brack, why did you resized your pic to stamp sized? Kinda hard to see now. Just make sure the width is about 800 pix and you should be fine.

Question??

I have the Canon S2 IS and I have downloaded the orginial software that came with the camera.

For Photostitch do I need to get something else?? Or am I missing it??

Thanks !!

Have you installed all the options from all the discs that came with it? Mine came with my Canon A95. Don't have the S2 IS :(

PS: Photostitch is imbedded on the disc called: Digital Camera Solution Disk

Thanks!! I have found my disk and I have run this (I have a mac) it says it should be there--now I am off to find :thumbsup2

Which OS do you use on your Mac? AFAIK the version available can only support OS 9 but not necessarily OS X.
