Well, after nearly five years, I've finally achieved a position as First Cook. Though it's not quite an official position, I'm getting paid as one, am doing the duties of one, am on the schedule as one, and have the responsibilities of one. I even have the snazzy "Team Leader" name tag addition. Woohoo!

Anyways, I haven't been on in a while because Confisco's been SLAMMING thsi summer. We've been doing double the business of MYthos, putting up numbers like Comic Strip cafe. If you all haven't been in a while, now' the time since we finally have a new menu going that's a little nicer. We have a new restaurant chef, so we're "building a convoy" so to speak.

Now...what can you make for MIB9's and I that has very, very low carbs?! :confused: If you come up with something snazzy for us Atkins' folks...I'll bet I can drag him in there! :rolleyes:

Congratulations!!!!! We went to Confisco's for the first time last July and LOVED it. My youngest kept asking to go back. We'll be back down in October and will now have the new menu items to look forward to.
 
WOW!! Congrats, Randy!!

Boy, I visited Confisco's last month and it was JAMMED!! It was our last day there and we thought we'd just relax and cool out before we head back home. The food was totally AWESOME! The waiter told us they were trying out a new Menu? True? Well, everything had that Randy feel! :teeth:

Oh! Another person that works At the Universal themeparks? Wow, I didn't know there were so many on this board!! :p

Anyway, you do still have the Buffalo Chicken Tenders, right? That's all that matters to me! :)

Great News!!! We've never liked Confisco's(found their food very typical theme park fare) but now that you are there we will definitely give it another try!
 
I used to love Confiscos when the park first opened. But once they took the paprer table clotrhs away, and dumbed down the menu, I didn't care for it much. Now I'll be sure to stop in next time, again.

Would be after the Ghostbuster Shows were over though. :)

WTG Randy. We ate there last christmas and like Damo found it just so so at best. I had dine at mythos and loved the food when you where there so i'm inspired to give it another whirl when we visit again. Congradulations on your promotion!
 
I second the observation made earlier about the Confisco menu being "dumbed down." Wasn't the same after that.

Let's hope the new chef raises the place to its old standards.

BTW, when Randy was at Mythos, I often asked my server which dishes he was working on that day (often the risotto) and then ordered accordingly. I was never disappointed.

Will the same ploy work at Confisco, Randy?

Also, how's about posting the menu here?
