I was all excited this afternoon when my foxstore points posted (1,000) & went to get another $25.00 applebee's gift card for our trip & it's not available anymore. Boo Hoo

Maybe you could use your points for a gas card. I'd been using tons of points for Olive Garden and Red Lobster...but with gas prices so high, I've started going for gas cards (redeemed pts for a $10 Shell card today).

It's the Fox Video Store - you can get MyPoints for purchasing videos from them. They often send out video offers where if you buy the specified video, they'll give you 1,000 points. If you do MyPoints, I bet you've gotten lots of these e-mails.

Speaking of fox video store...I have purchased Ice Age ($5.24 VHS+free shipping) 4X as birthday gifts. Well worth it to get the 1,000 each time & mypoints has always posted the points to my account rather quickly compared to other purchases.

jjohnson, In Morehead City, here are some good places to eat. I live in NC and head that way every so often, although not often enough .

El's Drive In across from the Crystal Coast Civic Center - I know it might look like a dump, but they have GREAT cheeseburgers! You park in the dirt lot and the waitresses come to you car. Try and park under the big tree if you plan on staying there to eat.

Anchor Inn at the Best Western on Arendell St - yummy prime rib!!!

Channel Marker across the bridge in Atlantic Beach - great seafood! and great Down East clam chowder

actually no I haven't gotten the emails for some reason Mypoints is sending emails to 2 email addy of mine that I never used to sign up with, someone did though. And my email that I did use is not getting emails from them.

I don't want to use the others because it was not me who signed up and don't want to lose my real acct if they ever figure it out... I did send them an email about it but they never even responded to it.
