Now Home! Pics added. Live From BCV and Vero Beach

Our last resort of this trip! SSR.
We love SSR, but didn't love the location of our studio which was in the Carousel section.

View from our villa at SSR. Carousel picnic pavilion.

We enjoyed High Rock Spring pool and the community hall here. Didn't do any of the scheduled crafts, but DD painted a picture, colored and we played ping pong and Mario.

I think this is my favorite picture of the trip!
DS noticed the clouds so I turned to take the picture and the colors in the clouds are beautiful.
Now remember, this was supposed to be a no parks trip!

DBIL couldn't believe we would be so mean, so he expressed two park passes for the kids to the resort!
So we did two park days. One EPCOT/AK evening EMH and the other MK/MGM. MGM was a bust, it was so crowded that we went back to SSr to swim and rest, then back to MK to finish out the night.
We also took them to both waterparks. At TL, a storm rolled in and we were under a storm shelter for 1.5-2 hours. It was crazy, with lightning strikes everywhere. They finally deemed it safe around 6pm, but we were leaving.
At BB a storm rolled in as well, and we decided we would just rather leave than wait this one out.

Looks like you are in the MK looking at the carousel. :) Incredible looking picture, those clouds look amazing and almost fake. Almost looks like the mother ship is coming in. ;)

Thanks for posting all the great pictures! :thumbsup2

...our views from the BCV... We could see a few buildings from World Showcase, I am curious what the big resort looking building is though. We could see nicely Illuminations from here.

That gold and terracotta building is part of Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort, a timeshare on property which is bordered on three sides by Disney property. Nice fireworks views from upper floor villas there too. It's next door to Disney's Caribbean Beach.

The rest of the Bonnet Creek development will include a Wyndham hotel, a designer golf course, a luxury Hilton hotel and a Waldorf-Astoria hotel. So there may be more tall buildings visible from the Epcot area in the next 2 years or so.

Anyway, I love the MK photo - those clouds are really amazing! And your oceanview at Vero - really nice! :) Thanks for sharing them.

You're welcome.
I think the clouds in that pic are amazing.

I thought that might be Bonnet Creek. We certainly never notice it while we are in Epcot, hope it stays that way with the rest of the Bonnet Creek resort area.

I was thinking that we'd enjoy trying VB and now after seeing your pics I know it!!! Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

Did your parents have a sitting area with a sofa in an Inn room in Vero? I didn't know that any inn rooms had sitting areas. It would be great to have a sofa.
