ummm.. i no vmk tht every holiday or occasion they have a pin.
but like yesterday Valentines Day, nobody had recieved 1...
i mean like of course here is a tink pin (2006 Valentines day) and a heart pin (2007 valentines day) tht probably everyone got. but still

did anyone recieve a valentines day pin for 2008?
if sooo plz correct me

i mean vmk is getting a lil strange if u ask me

There was no pin yesterday.

Maybe they are just done with the little holidays. We can test that theory out on St. Patty's Day.

We did discus this quite a bit yesterday, they did not issue a valentine's day 2008 pin. Past pins for this holiday have been sold not given.

It is my belief they thought the red present would be the replacement for the pins in order that people could gift them. They completely do not have an understanding of how people are attached to the pin series and tradition. While the gift was a nice item if people wished to give it, it was not a replacement of the pin. We like to fill our lanyard with the pins that match the theme.

Pin trading is definately another Disney special experience.

And again they are awesome at running on line games but have no clue what is the Disney Difference. Until they get someone who is both a gifted computer programmer and some one who gets the disney experience no matter what they add or take away to me the reseult will be the same.


Why do so many want the castle suite because the castle signifies where dreams come true. The center piece of the park, where Tinkerbelle takes flight where fiireworks sparkle in the night sky. Do they want it because it is a pretty room yes but the major reason is the Castle is Disney.

It is the first thing we want to see when we get to Disney. To walk up mainstreet and get closer to the castle the first time is a memory most never forget.

Maybe if we talk more about what would make VMK more like disney then we might get somewhere.

Because they do not understand how important pin trading is to some for the disney experience. They just see a pin.

Many people go by when they joined by the pins they have. yes I was in VMK on Valentines 2006 or 2007. It is a mile stone that many appreciated.

I really wish that they would do a survey like other disney sites. To really get a feel of what the players of all ages feel. Since this really has turned into a whole family game.

It is not a bad omen but many people really enjoy pin trading even more than playing the mini games so to them pin trading is a game in itself. Just like when they changed fireworks there were a lot of unhappy people and still a lot of unhappy peopletoday.

True enough - but still with credits what they are many can't afford to get everyone a gift on every occation - but add it is nice it is available.

I will agree with Belle on this, for the most part most are not "upset" (I am sure a few given exceptions) I look at it more as a continuity thing. By breaking the series it kind of makes it pointless to some. Certainly the Sun does not rise and set based on any normalcy in VMK - If I were to count on something it would be for them to not do what is expected. That said They can't make everyone happy no matter what and should not try to as it can only result in failure, however it would be nice if a few things seemed to make sense.

It is not a bad omen but many people really enjoy pin trading even more than playing the mini games so to them pin trading is a game in itself.

Their new thing is to anounce basicly what will be on sale the day before, but even with that we have seen additional unmentioned items and certainly would expect some future surprizes that are unknown before we see them in stores.

I enjoy collecting VMK pins. In fact, I became mildly obsessed with the goal of collecting every pin in the game.

I am relieved that there was no Valentine's '08 pin as it is 1 less thing I feel the need to buy.

If it were released and I missed it, yes, I'd be sad. It was not released, so...I'm not missing anything. There was no pin to miss.

Hello everyone.. Don't take this the wrong way but am I the only one that thinks that VMK has went DOWN since they closed the VMK in the park areas?.. I know that made many people stop playing because they do not look forward to going to disney to get speical pins.. I hope this is not leading to smaller hours, limited days, no updates.. (I highly doubt this all will happen)
