I do watch True Blood (just started this season), but I did not know that piece of trivia. I mean, I knew Stellan played Bootstrap Bill and that he was in Mammai Mia, but I didn't know that "Eric" is his soon. I can't wait to tell my husband, we love stuff like that.

I too only started TB this season. I have yet to watch the last 3 episodes. One of the first times I watched the show I saw the name Skarsgard in the credits and I googled the name because I knew that one of the characters in POTC had that name. That is how I found out.

I love Capt Jack with those eyes painted on his face. They just look so cool!

I loved that scene in the movie. I have to say, I have so many Capt Jack photos in my photobucket account that it took my half an hour to decide what to pick. I finally thought, I'll just go in order, POTC 1 yesterday, POTC 2 today, and so on.

It has gotten down right frigid here! Brrrr!

I know!!! I was so cold driving home from my mother's tonight. Once the sun goes down, brrrr.

No no no!!....that's not what I meant at all!!....I was being serious - when DH and I caught that little line in the first movie, we thought that was SO cool! It was like a "flash-forward!" When he said it, he was speaking as something that happened in the past, but you don't see the event until the future!

Dude, I so thought you were calling me out.

You know what I love about lines like that? They're so obviously improv. You know the whole thing about Will being a eunuch? That was never, ever part of the script. And how often did that get mentioned in the films? And then Barbossa's first name being Hector, that was something Jonny and Geoffrey had gotten together on when they were discussing their characters.

I seriously love the audio commentary on my DVDs.

A little too much, maybe.

See....I have mixed feelings on True Blood. (Sorry to hijack) I loved the books and I love the direction the books continue to move in because the series isn't over yet! I watched last season of True Blood and I really did like it but I didn't add HBO again when it started up. You know what show I will add HBO again for?? BIG LOVE. Marc & I just finished watching the second season and it's like the BEST show ever.

And to keep this pirate related...ERIC IS BOOTSTRAP'S SOON. Oh my goodness, do I love Eric.

And yeah, I savvy on the graphic nature of the genre....at some point books can just get to be too....much.

And so I read the kids books and I feel so much better! I highly recommend the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. Maybe not light and fluffy like Meg Cabot but fun nonetheless. Evan is trying to lure me into Fablehaven but Kendall is fighting for Vampire Diaries....

Well with all that amazingly fast growing hair, that must have some body to it or you couldn't pull off that hairstyle, you would be able to wear those kinds of headbands!

So not fair.

Me. They'd slide right off my head! Literally. I've tried.

I read the Anne Rice series years ago, and kind of got Vampired out then - so I never got into True Blood. Now "The Tudors", oh don't get me started!

Oh, gosh. You can learn so much from listening to an audio commentary. I love the one on Finding Nemo. If you haven't done that yet, I highly recommend it.

I hope I find it super quick and easy in the World too! I had a horrible time styling it this morning, but the bonus is I know where I went wrong. Here's to it coming out sassy and cute tomorrow!

It's so funny you should mention the Percy Jackson series, because I happen to have the third book sitting on my nightstand right now! They are great books.

Let me tell you, though, so you don't think the grass is greener. I have a TON of hair. A TON. And it takes FOREVER to blow dry. I mean, my hair holds water like a dang sponge. So it's a blessing, and a curse.

I should clarify, I am just fascinated by it. I don't know why. I read tons of books from people who use to live in the compounds. I watch every Dateline, 20/20, you name it on the issue. I even just got a book called 19th Wife. Big Love is really good though, the cast is amazing and you really like the main characters, you are rooting for them.
