No!!!!!!

Run away! Run away!
But...uh...stay away from 24. It is very addicting!
Maroo, I think it's safe to say you know me pretty well by now.
And basically, I need another character addiction like I need a hole in the head.
Point well taken, I'll be avoiding 24.
Glad to hear that you are all feeling better and I loved the little picture tour of your home.
I didn't want to quote your whole thing. You never have to apologize to me for telling us how you feel about your trip, or anything like that. I'm happy to listen, support, and advise if I can!
You're going to figure out what's best for you, and you'll know in your heart. Of course you want to take your child and of course you want to go alone with your husband. Trust me, I struggle with things like that all the time! DH and I are dying to get a night out alone, but it so rarely happens. We usually settle for picnics on the living room floor with some junk food and a good movie, and even that is few and far between. Most often we're too tired! Ah, married life. Married life with kids!

I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I guess the one thing you really need to ask yourself is if you leave DD at home, would you spend the whole time wishing she was there.
Having done a trip with DS and not DH, I can say I surely, surely missed my husband. It definitely felt weird not to have him there, but it was good to spend that time with Mom and Nana...well, when we were having a good time, that is.
So forgive my long ramble, but if you ever want to talk about it some more, just PM me. No judgements here, just happy to lend an...ear. Sorry for the rhyme.
And I'm glad you liked the pictorial tour.
Thanks so much for the peek inside your house! I love all the Disney (and Batman) touches! And yes, the Jack thing is quite uncanny! How nice to see so many touches of what you love everyday. Me thinks I have to consider some redecorating...
Pretty much our whole house is like that. Little touches of Disney or Batman or our artwork everywhere. I love it. We're creative, and I'm not trying to pat myself on the back here. It's just that with being a bank teller (so not what I thought I'd be doing at this point) there's limited room for the kind of creative flow I had going on in college. So it's really, really nice to have that in my home.
First off, I just have to tell you what happened while I was reading your update -- Connor came in so that I could pop an arm on a
Lego man for him, and spotted the first Batman pic -- so while I wrestled with popping the arm back in (do you know how hard it is to snap one of those suckers in???), he got to be the first one to scroll through your photos -- he was very impressed as was I! Since I am redoing my kitchen this summer, it made me think that perhaps I should put my pumpkins out year-round also!
You, of all people, should have your pumpkins at year round! You love fall as much as I do!!!

I'm excited that Connor got to look at the photos and he liked them too, that's great! And yes, those Lego men...oy vey.
I so want to go to
MNSSHP again -- sigh. I wonder if I could find a way to justify it???
I think that you could easily justify it.
Not that I recall.
If my memory serves me correctly, you live in an as-yet-to-be-completed space station ("It is not yet fully operational.") with a red-headed, light saber-weilding Jedi.
Did you ever watch the episode of Robot Chicken about this? I can't remember if we talked about it. It makes me cry I laugh so hard.
This is over your fridge, yes?
Do you ever pretend, when DH is being particularly obnoxious, as they are wont to do now and then, that Batman has his Batarang aimed directly at the back of his head?
I would.
Don't tell BF.
This is over my fridge. And no, I haven't quite imagine that, but now that you mention it...
Hey! Nice card!
Nice lunchbox!
Someone's got taste.
Very good taste.
LOVE the Batman smiley! What until I show my DH.
