Thanks for the info. Anyone find it strange that I am really hoping for Whoopi?

I am hoping for Monday Nov 30, because I want to do MVMCP on Dec 1. We will see.

Another question, do ADRs come out before or after the narrator announcement?
Last year about half of the narrators had been announced when ADRs went live.

We are either doing the Christmas party on the 1st or the 3rd, with CP on the 1st or 2nd. I don't have a ton of flexibility in my schedule, but I have a little, and waiting for the narrators is killing me (I'm really hoping for NPH....but last year he was not part of the initial announcement....). :upsidedow

The kids' restaurant of choice is Garden Grill, with Via Napoli or Teppan Edo as back ups.

Absolutely not; she's one of the most popular narrators. As for narrator announcement . . . it's usually just all over the place. Sometimes you know before ADRs open, sometimes you don't and sometimes the narrators get removed or moved around in the schedule.

We have done about all of the restaurants in Epcot...but we like being close to where the line starts, so we have gone with Teppan Edo the last few years. Food is very good and the chiefs are wonderful and love kids. Love the CP! It is a must see!:earsboy:

I like being close to where the line starts too, we went to Tokyo Dining our last trip and will be going there again. My Prince Charming uses a power wheelchair and maneuvering at Teppan Edo is hard sometimes.

Eagerly awaiting the opening of the CP ADR's! Hope to do 11/28, but could do 11/27 if needed. Current plan is to do Via Napoli as I was looking for appetizer/entrée/dessert options that everyone would be interested in (especially picky eater DD11 who is adult price). We did the CP back in 2010 and Le Cellier was still part of it--had a yummy meal there.

Can't wait to get this booked! I've done it once before with lunch at Via Napoli and Neil Patrick Harris was the narrator. It was my favorite WDW Christmas event! So excited to get to do it again!

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining and the castmember told me that nothing has been released yet. I asked about a time line and she said it would be close to July or the beginning of July.

This will be our first time to go during the holiday season. Very excited to see Candlelight Processional. Decided to do the dinner package to make it easier. Hadn't thought about the restaurant being near the American Gardens Theatre. Good tip.

This is a great thread. I really thought all the ADR for the package were full for the night we wanted to go. We called too and were told to watch the Disney Blog for when they would open up the package. I hope everyone here gets the ADR they want ! :-)

It's been ages since I did this and planned to do so this year. But I had 2 questions:
1) do they taken DDP for this?
2) are they non-refundable like MNSSHP? If i book one day at one place and find I then don't like the person doing the Candlight Processional can i change to a differnt one?

As far as I know they do take DDP
It is a standard ADR, you give a credit card guarantee but you do not pay until you are at the meal.

Whew I'm really wanting Chefs de France, but wow at the $75 dinner. Anyone think it's worth the splurge? (This trip is a early bday gift to myself!) :)

Our kids hardly eat anything, but my husband and I are looking forward to the CLP dinner package. (Thanks Disney for allowing us to pay adult prices for the 10 yo girl to not eat!) Anyway, we thought the character interaction at Garden Grill would make the experience more enjoyable for the whole family. Can anyone confirm that the characters do appear during CLP dinners at the Garden Grill. Thanks!
