We are visiting Nov. 3-9th What should we expect from the weather? Mainly does it get cool enought to warrant jeans, sweatshirt etc? We are from Ohio so at that time of year we wear everything from shorts to winter coats. :earseek

In the last 7 years that we have gone in Novemeber(first weekin Nov) it has been very warm. The weather man says every morning "Unseasonably warm for this time of year" I think after 7 years they should change their expectations to very warm. Upper 80's. (Heat index 90's) Only one morning did the kids need a sweatshirt. But I still always pack just one pair of pants for each person. The weather is perfect.

We went last year around that time and we swam everyday and never once considered wearing a sweatshirt. Enjoy Jersey Week!

In fear of going out on a limb here, since I posted to several people that in the summer it does rain but not the all day stuff and now I am sitting here with 8in more rain than the typical Aug and it is only the 10th and a newly formed lake in my backyard......I will say that if you are planning on coming the later part of Nov. I would at least pack a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans for some of the evenings. The first half I don't think you will need them. Just check out accuweather.com before you finish packing they give a forecast 14 days out and are usually pretty accurate. I think the weather in late Oct and Nov is some of the best especially for park touring.

Thanks, I love your pic. We will be staying at WL. Our favorite resort. It just feels like a vacation when we are there.:smooth:

The WL is my favorite also and have been going several times a year since it opened........it opened as a moderate but became so popular it became deluxe that is why the rooms are smaller. The picture was taken in May and the first time that I ever used a digital camera! I am headed back in Oct. and in Dec. again, and I have become so spoiled I will not stay anywhere else onsite! I love to walk the nature trail in the morning down to FW and always see deer etc. This last trip I saw a raccoon peeking in one of the doors at the lodge, I know this is a common sight for alot of you but I grew up in Wis and now live in this concrete jungle and I love seeing all the critters of the wild!

Our package begins on the 12th and goes through the 20th, what should we expect? Will it still be warm enough for water parks, swim, etc? Should we pack shorts and a couple of pair of pants and a jacket each? Just wondering what to expect in middle of Nov. We can change our dates if there is better weather at any other time.

I think the weather will be perfect for your trip and for the water parks, but please do not take what I say as set in stone, since the weather patterns are crazy this year. It also depends on where you are coming from........I think you will be fine with shorts and tees and perhaps a pair of slacks and a light jacket just in case. As far as the pools they are heated, I haven't been to a water park in a few years but I am sure they are too. I find the Fall in FL to be alot like the summers of up north without the humidity. The best thing to do is check the weather sites before closing up those suitcases. I personally like to pack a light jacket or sweater anyways since I always freeze in the restaurants in the evenings, but that is just me. I think you have chosen a great time to visit, Hurricane season is usually over and the rains of summer have subsided.
