did you pack and use both extremes...jackets and shorts, etc.? Thanks!

we were there for christmas, and we swam every day for the entire week. we did bring jeans and hoodies, but only used them at night. i think it might depend on where you are coming from. we left snow and ice, and were very surprised to see the locals wearing heavy coats and even some scarves. for us, it was beautiful weather!!!

We were there last year for Thanksgiving week. Friday Nov. 16, our arrival day, it was cold-low 40s! We wore jackets and gloves. The next morning, it was warm enough for just tshirts and jeans. We wore jeans the whole time, but didn't get cool enough to wear sweatshirts again until the Wed night before Thanksgiving. The kids did swim one night-the pools are heated-while I did laundry close by. They had a great time.

The PP is right-I'm a MS girl and low 40s was cold to me! Also remember that the heat and cold down here are wet-makes it more extreme either way!

We have been there in mid-late Nov & early Dec. We needed sweatshirts in the mornings and evenings somedays. Others it was great swimming weather! I would pack for both

Last Nov & Dec was great. Oct was too cold for swimming. Other times, I've been in coats. You never know.

I was there for a few nights right before Thanksgiving last year and it was hot and sometimes humid from what I can remember... this is from a person who feels cold unless its above 75 degrees outside. :)

Check out the 10 day weather forecast before you leave.

We were there November 5-13 one year and it was low 80's during the day and we went to Blizzard Beach as well as swam in the resort pool. I got a nice dandy sunburn at BB.

A year or two ago, the 1st week of December (I think) dropped down into the 30's. You just never know.

Bring layers for clothing.

We were there for "Jersey Week", which is usually around the second week in November a few years ago. I packed for both extremes since I had only gone during the summer months in the past and had no idea what to expect. So here we are with big suitcases full of pants, sweatshirts and long sleeved shirts. Well, temps were unseasonably warm for November. They were 87-93 during the day and still warm at night. Needless to say, we never even opened up the winter suitcase. The good thing was that since the parks all closed between 7 and 9 it was always warm enough to go in the pool when we got back to the hotel and swim comfortably.

We were there last Thanksgiving. We got a mix of both cool and warm weather. The night we arrived, for MVMCP I had to wear my coat and gloves. The rest of the week was great. Still it was too cold for me to swim! :scared1: My kids had a great time swimming though....didnt seem to bother them at all. :thumbsup2
