I am starting to plan our trip back to Disney.:cheer2: Originally I wanted to go at the end of January but that is not going to work so now I am looking at either the week of either November 28th or February 21st. My main goal is to avoid crowds which of these would be better? I would love to see the christmas decorations but really want LOW crowds.

Well, the February dates will most likely be less crowded (also, when it does rain in SoCal, it often rains in February, so that will keep the crowds low). Thanksgiving weekend (including 11/28) is the busiest or the second busiest weekend of the year, I have heard - no getting around it. So as much as I would love to encourage you to go and see the holiday decorations because it is truly magical during that time of year, if you want lower crowds, stick with February 21. It will be a little better.

I agree with Sherry -- definitely February!!

I agree. Presidents Day is early this year (15th) so you will miss the holiday crowds.

Thanks - I jsut got off the phone with HOJO's - I booked Feb 21 - 28th at the ent rate. Now I just have to wait for cheap airfare!

The weekend after President's Day is often as crowded, if not more, than President's Day weekend itself as many private schools are on Ski Week. Weekdays are not crowded at all.

Though the last weekend in February through mid-March is great.

We spent Feb 23 to Feb 27 at DLR this year. Most of the popular rides didn't even have the FastPass system up and running as there were only 5 min waits anyway. Still waited about 75 mins for the Princess Fantasy faire though.

So what would it be like March 8th -15th. It is spring break here which would be better for us, but I figured it is probably spring break other places then too.

I would stick with February -- that time in March will be the beginning of Spring Break for a lot of areas (Arizona included).

I agree - stick with February. Again, it may not rain all the time in California, but one of the rainiest months when it DOES rain is February, so that will keep the crowds low. I have pretty much figured that whichever time period someone says is 'slow,' someone else will say is busy, and whatever is designated as the 'busy' time, someone else will say it wasn't crowded at all! Kind of like the restaurants - some people say certain ones were terrible while other people love them!:lmao: So you just kind of have to gather the feedback and take the plunge!

We did DL abt that time ( Feb) years ago during Rodeo weekend. Lots of Tucsonians.

What is Rodeo weekend? I haven't heard of that?

It's the Fiesta de Los Vaqueros. A large Tuscon tradition. Starts out with the worlds longest and oldest non-mechanized parade, and then 3 days of rodeo.:thumbsup2 (If you like that kind of thing)
