November trip - how many days?

Planning on taking a short trip, just me and my daughter. I've never been to Universal so I want to see *everything*. It's looking like we will arrive late afternoon Sunday 11/9. Plan to stay at either RPR or Cabana Bay. I'm thinking I would prefer RPR.

So given that we will be at the parks Monday-Tuesday (Tues being Veteran's Day) is a 2-day park to park ticket enough? I am willing to tack on an extra day if we need it and hit the parks Wednesday as well but if I can shave a few dollars off my total cost that is always a plus.

2 days would probably be okay but I would add the extra day since you have never been. Since it is a holiday I would make sure you stay at RPR so you have the express pass.

Just in case you're interested, you can get "buy 2 days, get one free" tickets at Undercover Tourist. You won't have to decide then!

Edit to add... I'm in FL so the resident ticket prices are still better than Undercover Tourist. Looks like only $10/ticket more for the 3 day over the 2 day so that makes for a very easy decision.

The harder decision now is how many hotel nights

You only need two nights at a deluxe resort- RPR- to get three days of ee and ep. If you want to stay longer, maybe do CB the third night. You will have ep&ee from RPR the day you check in and the whole day after you check out from RPR, so if you want that third night at a cheaper rate and don't plan on going to parks on fourth day, do CB that last night.

So if you stayed at RPR Sunday and Monday, you would get ee and ep Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (you get perks all day of check out). If you want to stay another night and save $$, then stay at CB on Tuesday night since you will still have the ep and ee from your RPR stay.
