We are planning a trip for November 08. We were going to try for the week after Thanksgiving, which given when the holiday falls, is actually going to be the first week of December.

I am concerned about flying Thanksgiving weekend....try to avoid peak air travel time...so should we wait until Monday Dec. 1?

Would the Christmas decorations be up the week before Thanksgiving, the 17- 21st?

We are going to be there the week of Thanksgiving and most, but not all of the Holiday events will be going. We have also gone in the past where we flew the Sat. of Thanksgiving weekend into the 1st week of Dec. and encountered no problems. It is actually a nicer time due to less crowds. This year we had no choice due to the kids getting older and missing school. Good luck with whatever you decide.

We flew Thanksgiving a.m. (cheap flights!) and stayed through the next week. After Thanksgiving weekend it was great!

Last year we went the week after Thanksgiving..the beginning of the week was great, but towards the weekend got a bit crazy (that is when they tape the Christmas Parade) The weather was great and all the decorations were up..my girls love it when it "snows" in WDW..lol
